Caleb probably could’ve had 2 TDs. Allen dropped one and he rushed the other to Carter. He’s making a lot of mistakes that rookies make. I think he’s going to struggle and then suddenly figure it out at some point. Whether that point is next game or next season or any time in between, I’m not sure.

Why is Velus Jones anywhere near the football right now?

To be fair, Bears coming back from down 17..It’s been a while since that happened.

A dub is a dub is a dub. Offense needs to find something more…Even with a rookie QB that was pretty bad today. Texans game will be a big test.

Holy shit, our new Center is fucking awful. Easily the worst Center-play I've seen in some time, and that is saying something considering it's been a point of weakness for what seems like forever.

Velus Jones' punt muff is the worst punt muff in NFL History. Specifically with the new rules. Holy shit that guy is cursed. Unbelievable.

Eberflus bugs the fuck out of me.

I think Caleb played fine. Missed a couple easy deep balls, but played behind a Center that was either getting pancaked, multiple holding calls or battling the air. God he was awful.

It was kinda weird that that Herbert didn't see much playing time at RB. Hell, I think Homer got more touches?? That's weird if he's healthy.

That pick six by Levis was batshit retarded. :L Great play by Stevenson...great eyes.

The Bears poor offense today was 85% the Center play. (65) Shelton was HORRIBLE.
Dude. Shit is infuriating. Center has been an issue for YEARS. All on Poles.

That certainly was an unorthodox way to win a ballgame today, especially coming from 17 points down. Offense was for the most part complete garbage. Caleb sucked, our OL sucked. Our WRs didn't come close to living up to their preseason hype, and the running game was so-so-at best. Our defense, mainly the run D, was for the most part quite pedestrian, and it wasn't until Flus started dialing up the pressure in the back half did it look like what we expected. It was our STs which kept us in the game, altho Velus did us no favors by not only fumbling receipt of the kickoff, but somehow managing to kick it forward into a fumble recovery for the Titans.

we should probably draft a center with our first round pick this year.
I've overall been impressed with the way Poles has rebuilt this team. But no doubt he's had numerous opportunities in the past two years to solidify the center spot and has failed to do so. Whether it could have been thru the draft or free agency, there were numerous options at his disposal. The past two years have produced the best crops of draft picks and free agents in years at this position. No excuses at all.

I think he thought the answer was Ryan Bates several years ago when he tried to sign him as a RFA. Hopefully he moves on.

Don't mind Bates at all from the guard spot. But Poles needs to draft/sign a center who is a legit CENTER. Enough of this bullshit already.

I'd take Whitehair over the shit I saw today. Dude got wrecked often. Pretty much every shitty stall in the first half was the direct result of him looking foolish. The 19 yard loss by Williams was ALL on Shelton, and I couldn't gaf less whether he should've thrown it away or not....absurd pressure up the middle. I can't recall if it was that play, but on one he got completely de-cleated...on his ass instantly. Another where he decided that a triple team block was necessary...had at least 2 penalties, and another two plays where he was dancing with a ghost.

I think he was the most noticeable player on offense, and definitely not in a good way.

Holy crapola, going over the game stats. Give me the number of teams who totalled just 144 yards on offense, yet still won the game. That's insane.

Almost forgot - game balls:

None for the offense.
Defense: TJ Edwards, Demarcus Walker
STs: Daniel Hardy, DeAndre Carter

Darrell Taylor had two sacks and a forced fumble. Not bad for a 6th to 7th round swap.

I think the broadcast said for the Bears, it's been since '06 with Rex Grossman.

Could prolly be for the whole NFL fer all I know for sure. Wouldn't surprise me.

I think Eberflus is in over his greasy head. For all the talk of the new OC, that playcalling looked an awful lot like Getsy's. At what point does the blame go to coach? He feels like he's allergic to offense and winning convincingly.
