He looked promising his first year but never got any better, likely regressed. Too bad that Dolphins and Redskins exist though so there's no shot at top draft pick for a new QB

The top two in that draft class are likely headed for back up roles...not bad money...don't get hit much, normally can last 5 or 6 yrs backing up easily...making $2 to 3 mil per.
Could see this coming from a mile away when it was announced Tannehill was signing with Tennessee. No way was Mariota starting the whole season.
The headline may as well say, "Titans decide to go for broke, and punt season for hope of better draft position". Starting Tannehill isn't any kind of formula for winning.
Sorry, bro. Bengals getting that #1 QBHe looked promising his first year but never got any better, likely regressed. Too bad that Dolphins and Redskins exist though so there's no shot at top draft pick for a new QB
Mariota looked like a bust from the get go. Not sure why anybody took him as high as they did.
He was overhyped in college too. Choked in big games, doesn't surprise me. You can never really truly tell though but this kid had something about him, plus not much of a leader...looks like he is done finally
