Who to bench in week 5?

End of last week I was planning to swap Mostert out & Pacheco in, but then I saw how the Giants played.

Who would you leave on the bench this week?

Mostert is locked in
Honestly its a toss up between the other two. Minny and jax r pretty good against running backs. I think in sitting cook. But its a total gut call.

I'm sitting Pacheco out of that bunch. Mahommes/Kelce don't have back to back sub par efforts, I'm betting on them getting Mahommes 4+ scores on the Vikes, which means Kelce/McKinnon/random WR X are more likely to have the good days around him.

Mostly because I am too cowardly to bench mostert who I would want to bench.

My must start of those three is Pacheco. He is the safest and also has the highest upside.

It's close between Cook and Pacheco, think I bench Cook but could easily decide to change and bench Pacheco. Chiefs likely have the game in hand early so maybe they run the clock with Pacheco? Or maybe they bring in CEH for garbage time? Heck think I've changed my mind and bench Pacheco. LOL.

I’m surprised everyone is in on Mostert this week. Coming off a 7 carry - 4 pt performance. He has only carried the ball over 13 times once. Achane is picking up steam. I have the same dilemma but right now I am locked into benching Mostert.

I have Bijan, Kamara, Pacheco and Mostert.

Bijan and Kamara are must starts.
I have Pacheco in the FLEX.

Am I crazy?

I’m am surprised everyone is in on Mostert this week. Coming off a 7 carry - 4 pt performance. He has only carried the ball over 13 times once. Achane is picking up steam. I have the same dilemma but right now I am locked into benching Mostert.

I think its probably more to do with them facing the Giants. While Achane has likely taken over as #1, the Dolphins offense is explosive enough to support two backs in fantasy, especially against weak opponents. This week could be a big tell though. If he can't provide decent flex value, its gonna be a one back show.

Yeah that is why currently I looking to trade Mostert while his value is high. One bad week isn't killing his value but two weeks could drop that value. Depends how desperate the owner is to acquire a RB too

hard to tell exactly what the MIA backfield situation is, outside of the fact that they've been supporting 2 great fantasy options within a short 4wk window in which 2 of the games were absolute blowouts

did Achane usurp Mostert, or was the 3-4TD deficit against Bills the reason why the rook saw more snaps/touches?

We at least know the Achane breakout game vs Broncos wasn't a mirage if he put it on the Bills as well. Even in a blowout, I don't think the Bills are avoiding opportunities to lay the wood on any Fins skill position players any chance they get.

with 3 other great options, I don't think you're crazy benching Mostert. Especially if Pacheco sees the usage he got vs Jets

Pacheco. I feel a shootout in Minny.

But Mostert had fumblitis last week. He might get a ding in the touch department.

I have Lamb and Smith… bad matchups but whatever.
My dilemma is Adams… who is “Q” right now… almost assuredly nothing, but his game is Monday night.

My only other option is McLaurin but he plays tonight.

Thoughts?

I mean Adams did say earlier in the week his injury does not feel good, he didn't practice today. Doesn't look good. Might just be safe to start McLaurin

So I am glad I am not the only one struggling with this.
I have read to bench all of them for the other two so far LOL
No matter what. I am sure the guy I bench will be the highest scorer, because that is what happens

I think I would go with McLaurin honestly.
