Happens a lot. After the 52 you just said fuck it all, settled down and started hitting shots again.

...a few years back I opened a round double double. Then I parred out for a 39 and it was one of my favorite feats ever.

Not bad at all...any score under 90 is decent for me right now...Saturday was 93 with a freakin 11 on the card...John Daly would've been proud.

Nice! The first time I ever broke 90, many, many years ago, I shot an 86. That number is special to me.

I had a little golf trip to Eau Claire (meeting a buddy from the Twin Cities half-wayish) planned this weekend but it looks like showers and thunderstorms

Bummer...looks much the same here for this evening into Sat. morning but Easter Sun looks great and several courses are offering sweet deals, but I'm begging off this weekend...spend a little time with the family Sunday...I need some short game work in the worst way.

Went out Monday and played 12 holes before it got dark. Course by me has this thing called ''Twilight'' starts at 4 and you can play till it gets dark around 7:15-7:30. $30 for as many holes as you can play + a golf cart, if you have a leisure pass, which I do.

So we got on the course around 5 and played 12 holes up until 7:20 and it start getting dark.

Took me around 2 holes to get back to normal and hit the longest drive of my career on a par 5 on hole 3. Tee'd off and hit a shot 280 yards straight down the fairway, best shot of my career. Though, it was my first round of the season, didn't play too well, but haven't played since September, I expected not to be good.

I live in Nassau County, Bethpage is like 20 minutes from me. I haven't played there yet, it's always packed and hard to get a tee time.

I can see for a local, but I don't mind waiting or paying to get on a public USO track...at the same time I have an open invite to play East Lake (home of the Tour Championship) and ATL Athletic Club (hosted 2 PGAs, and a USO) and I've yet to play either one.

Yeah I would imagine so. I like the courses I play at and i'm used to them.

I've been itching to play really badly since it started warming up. The only thing I've been able to work on lately is my putting stroke because I have a ball return setup in my living room for when I'm watching TV. I think I'm going to hit a couple buckets of balls on Saturday and Sunday to try and work out a few kinks if I don't make that trip since it looks like it will be pretty nice here.
