Thanks....it's astounding how much more rain we've gotten here compared to most of DFW. We've gotten like a foot since the beginning of the month. According to my buddies rain gauge anyway. And I can believe it since I'm sitting indoors damn near everyday this month.

Lots of cut hay that can't be baled until it dries out. May mold and go to waste. Hope not. Big loss to the farmer and that's never good for anyone.

Got a call yesterday at 4:30 and witnessed the birth of my second grand son last night.....it took 100 posts to get back to the forum. BUT....I'm good with your opinion of me being thin skin under the circumstances of eating a dick, ass hole and forum contribution questioning. I've never had any misunderstandings how this board works as opposed to others I've posted on. Shoot....pointing ones finger is the easy part

I am not sure if we have ever done this but if not I was thinking the other day about if we had a post and each one of us put our top 2 position players for each position including DH (not necessarily in order of who is 1 or 2), 4 starters and 3 relievers. I think I was thinking of this to escape what has happened this year and started thinking of good things. HA! And the players are chosen only how they were as Rangers. Like not Ferguson Jenkins when he was with the Cubs. And does not matter if you think the person took steroids or not. Just based on their results as a Ranger.

Rangers have promoted Luke Jackson, Phil Klein, Ryan Rua, and Jake. Smolinski from Frisco to Round Rock.

It is really raining now. This has been a different start to summer. I laid St Augustine sod all through my back yard about 3 weeks ago and this rain has been great for it.

Sodded some as well, Wastin. Rain has really helped. Right after area communities went to Stage 3 water restriction Modified.

Klein has been nearly unhittable. Last time I looked his ERA was under 1.

Smolinski and Rua have similar numbers across the board (except batting average .267 vs .300)

Phil Klein might be a quick callup if he performs in AAA for an extended period, his numbers are indeed outstanding
