In fairness to him: He had his first season with the following:

Fielder/Choo/JPA/Gimenez/Robertson/Murphy/Odor/Sardinas/Choice/Snyder and I'm sure some I don't remember.

How would anyone do with this bunch, under these adverse conditions?

Add in inexperienced and now disappeared Profar, MM who never showed up for anyone, an injured Soto, an AS 3rd baseman who is-what-he-is, an undisciplined Martin (but showing improvement)....well.....I don't know exactly what we'd expect from this "supposed" hitting guru?

This isn't his first year. We had trouble scoring runs last year as well. Someone should be held accountable, and it's usually the hitting coach. He still has Leonys, EA, Choo, AB, and Rios and they don't produce as a group.

That trade was more about dumping salary than what they received in return thats not the case with Darvish, its not a comparable trade

I never said it wasn't. And comparing it to our situation isn't an equal equation either.

All this shows is, a whole lot can happen in 2 years, regardless of how or why you reached the point of where both teams - us and Boston - got to where we're at.

P-Day was stating a 2 year window of opportunity which I can't and don't get with this team as it's currently constructed.

Not trying to defend the guy; honestly I'm not.

And yes, it's his 2nd year, but he is dealing with a bunch of 1st year guys under his rein, and/or men who aren't going to change - AB, Choo - radically regardless of who's the hitting instructor.

Sir...the two year reference was the amount of time we still have Darvish under contract thus not making him Teixeira with regards to blowing our doors off

I didn't say anything wrong. You come in and contribute nothing. You said there are people on here that would trade every asset, and that's not the case.

I contribute an opinion....just like your 100 or so opinions you post daily.

You didn't at the time. You said "is that you in the sunglasses or the other one". That's contributing nothing besides adding to what many already know. You are an asshole.

Been really busy lately. Looks like I haven't missed much. I don't know if this is even a .500 team at this point.

I still love this team no matter how bad it gets, but my appearances will be a little psoriatic for a couple more weeks at least.

Wasn't able to watch the game... to busy getting stranded at the airport. All I got to say about the box score is at least Cobra went 6. Well that and it looks like Beltre is heating back up.

Minus the first inning Colby looked pretty good, giving up some hard hit balls and getting out of jams, gave up 1 run through 6 with 6 hits and no walks, but it wasn't always pretty, but he battled

Wash had no one ready to go at the start of the 7th and that was a big mistake

Lewis' big collapse was an inning later than usual but I think most people knew it was coming soon, someone should've been ready as soon as Lewis gave up a baserunner, not 3 batters later

Very encouraging start for Lewis though, hopefully this is the start of better things for him

It's great to be judge of all that's worthy from behind that keyboard.
Last week you called me a dick for a stated opinion and chime in darn near every time I post an opinion. Now I'm an asshole and all because I think you post like a kid. Ironic how that worked out...yes sir, it's good to be judge of all that is worthy on a message board

BTW....I liked your post as well.

Agree, I do not usually like to throw in the towel but this season is done. I expect the guys to play hard and players like Odor, Choice, Sardinas, Chirinos and Martinez get some valuable experience. I will still watch the games as I love the Rangers but I am just being realistic about our chances of making the playoffs.

Deadspin has an article about Ian waving to the Rangers dugout after the HR. He is a rather immature human being.

Ian Kinsler Homers, Mocks His Former Teammates

this is getting a lot of local radio play. Many think Ian should be drilled. His target for the wave may of been JD but he insulted the players and most certainly Lewis. Kinsler looked small to me and I hope like heck he takes one in the ribs before he gets outta town

I am just now finding out that it is in most sports outlets. I obviously have been doing other things and just realized it during lunch. I am surprised he did not get one upside the noggin. Can we call someone up with a 94+ gun to pitch to Ian and send him back down after he is thrown out of the game? LOL!

Saw him do it and lost a little respect for him. Acted like a two year old.

Agree. I have ignored what he said before but the fact he is still holding on to it after all this time is ridiculous. He needs to get over it. Losing respect for him is the right word. We could have waved to him a whole bunch of times when we were in Detroit.
