Two supposed NFC powerhouses battled to the end. At least football is finally here. Both defenses were obviously really good. Eagles were very impressive inside red zone. I thought Matt Ryan was bad for the most part. He did make some nice throws at the end but took some bad sacks and missed a lot of throws. Julio Jones is a beast but damn he takes a lot of plays off. The Falcons Punter better change something or he is going to get multiple punts blocked this yr.
The Eagles Offense - Ajaye runs hard. Sproles showed how valuable he can be. I thought Foles was OK, but Ertz really hurt him tonight. I lost count of balls he should have caught. They obviously miss Alshon.

The flags really got in the way of the game. 250 yrds of penalties and I swear I saw at least 4 delay of games not called.

Finally Fletcher Cox is probably the Eagles best player. Their second though might be their head coach. Damn that guy can call some sweet plays

I hope the officiating gets better.
if either of the teams tonight was my team I would be pissed at the officiating.

At least the officials sucked across the board.

He was so good on that last drive and then they got inside the 10. The Eagles did have good coverage down there though. It wasn’t one of his better games.

I thought both teams were horrible and lucky to be playing each other or they would have been blown out. Philly better hope Wentz is back soon. The refs were part of the story no doubt, but there could have been 20 more penalties called. Looked like Philly OL started early 10 or 15 times, Peters just tackled guys a couple of times, etc. Maybe this is week 1 Football when no one plays in the preseason and we are all going to experience the same thing this weekend???

One thing I am worried about is Frederick missing when we play the eagles.
Cox will ruin an offense up the middle.
