To avoid the 2 top teams in the league meeting the LDS
red sox or yanks lose in division series......im fine with itTo avoid the 2 top teams in the league meeting the LDS
I'm surprised they don't. You know Fox was praying for a Yankees/Red Sox ALCS.
Since it's rare, why do we need to fix anything?I mean usually they wouldn't have to because a lot of times, the WC team is not better than the 3 division records but in the rare times when you have 2 dominant teams in the same division, would be nice to reseed IMO

Maybe we could have the Yankees move into the National League so as to make it more likely they meet the Red Sox in the W.S.Because possibly having the top team in the league playing the team with the 2nd best record in baseball is beyond retarded.
The point of getting top seed in sports is to have an EASIER path than the teams who finished behind you.
You do know this right?
Or we could just have a Yankees-Red Sox rule just this one time because ... well, it would be better for baseball.
If you assert that the Astros aren't as good as the Yankees ... based on what legitimate criteria? That they only played the Orioles 6 or 7 times?

But divisions matter, especially in baseball where you play the teams in your division FAR more than any others.
