South Carolina dismisses Al Harris, David Johnson
Two former defensive starters at South Carolina are gone, as Will Muschamp announced Saturday defensive back Al Harris (pictured) and defensive end David Johnson are no longer part of the program.

“They are no longer part of the team,” Muschamp said in a statement. “We wish them the best.”

No reason was given for the pair’s dismissals.

I'm the original troll of all things LHN but have to admit I'm even sick of it. Everything has been proven:

A. It only makes sense for Texas and ESPN loses its shirt.
B. The other members of the Big 12 are always going to resent it.

Programming sucks for all these type channels unless it's live sports or classic game replays. The SEC Network was playing some of Peyton and Cam's greatest games right before the Super Bowl and that was kind of cool.
I've always thought ESPN bought a pig in a poke with the LHN.

Bamabino,

No shit it's ok to chill and not be a complete dick 24/7. I know it will be hard but life will be much better if you will just take a break from stupid shit.

Nope. I seem to remember MSU's players' reaction on the national TV after finding out they were playing Bama.
That was with good reason, look what happened to them when they did. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

It's all cool until they start rolling their own trees. Then we know they've gone retarded.

I've always thought ESPN bought a pig in a poke with the LHN.

yes they did, and did it knowingly.

it was the price they were willing to pay to keep Texas from going FOX (Pac).

BC announces plans for indoor facility, leaves Miami as only ACC school without one
Monday, Boston College announced plans for a $200 million worth of enhancements to the university’s athletic facilities. Included in the proposal is a plan to build an indoor football facility.

That indoor facility, which would be located adjacent to Alumni Stadium, would not only include a practice field for football but space for “other field sports, as well as campus recreation, club sports and intramurals.”

The construction of the facility would be funded through private gifts. There’s no preliminary word on when the building would be completed.
