A mellow fellow
Auburn finished 4th in the SEC West and 6th in the SEC
Wisconsin finished 1st in the B1G West and 2nd in the B1G
So using unbiased standards, Wisconsin is obviously the better team by conference rank.
I could use all examples, and in the games the SEC lost, they were lower ranked in their respective conference.
Anyone look at it this way?
Maybe we could really gauge who's the best conference by aligning them relative to position in conference.
1)Alabama-Ohio State-Baylor-Florida State-Oregon
2)Missouri-Wisconsin-TCU-Georgia Tech-Arizona
3)Miss State-Michigan State-Kansas St-Clemson-Arizona State
4)Georgia-Minnesota-Oklahoma-Louisville-UCLA
5)Ole Miss-Nebraska-Texas-Duke-USC
6)Auburn-Maryland-West Virginia-Boston College-Utah
7)LSU-Iowa-Oklahoma State-North Carolina-Stanford
8)Florida-Rutgers-Pittsburgh-Washington
9)Texas A&M-Illinois-NC State
10)Tennessee-Penn State-Miami
11)South Carolina-Virginia Tech
12)Arkansas
Now let's use this chart and discover some logic.
GT>Miss St
TCU>Ole Miss
Wisconsin>Auburn
Missouri>Minnesota
Georgia=Louisville
Miami>South Carolina
Texas>Arkansas
West Virginia>Texas A&M
LSU and Notre Dame are hard to compare since Notre Dame is independent.
But what conclusions can you make by using this chart?
