PK went unsigned even through the mass resign phase before the new CBA.

Seems kind of weird the Habs worried more about resigning Pacioretty, even though he had a year left still.

Pk could turn into a very good dman over time but I wouldn't give up the house for him. Besides the lockout could be a blessing as it will give mez time to heal as well as some rest for timonen. May even extend his career a year!

i think its the opposite.. i think they push out a year if the entire season is lost, but if even 1 game is played, it burns a year.. i could be wrong though, i'm gunna go look

schenn/couturier losing a year off their ELC's is not good though. (playing in the AHL this year)

edit: looks like i'm wrong. contract year gets burned regardless.

PK is one of those guys you just hate. He gets under everyone's skin. That being said, I'd love to have him on the Flyers. Nice slapshot he has. Like someone else said, he is like Max Talbot when he was on the Pens. I hated him, now I love the guy. Lol

I agree. We won't get a guy like this without giving up Cooter or Schenn. That's the reason we won't get PK.
