I agree. We won't get a guy like this without giving up Cooter or Schenn. That's the reason we won't get PK.

I wouldnt give up Cooter or Schenn for him but maybe Gust and a draft pick

LOL. Now I have to go dig out clips of Talbot for you. Did you ever see Talbot at the Flyers wives carnival from last year. Somewhere on hear there is a clip, here or the main board? He has some dance moves!

I'm with Awazy. I dislike Talbot. Always will.


Just like ********, I've learned to tolerate what he rarely does (score, hit) for the occasional good of the game/team. lol

i'll give him props all day, and he seems to be a pretty good/funny guy.

i still dislike him for his past though. however, in one year he's managed to go from 'his face drives me in to a furious burning rage' to 'i dislike him'

He's a guy you hate to play against but love playing with. He was never on the same level as Gina/Cindy or Cooke to me but he was a source of annoyance, he's definitely proved he deserved his contract though.

I thought when Talbot got here he was more of a dirty player and more of a hitter and cheapshot artist but that has not been the case last season. He wasnt chippy or dirty and not that much of a hitter but he did play extremely well compared to his stats in Pitt

Hated Talbot more than Crosby on July 1st, 2011 at 11:59 AM.

But he is a guy you love to have on your team, and was awesome for us. Amazing what happens when you put a guy with some depth. :p

At least Talbot has turned out to have some talent. PK on the other hand isnt very good.
