They usually go to a small school once a year. I would love to see Mt. Union (div 3) be a host. They've won a lot of Div 3 nattys this century.

Vandy was top 20 at the time, playing against I believe a top 10 Auburn team. Like 2009 or 2010 in that area.

I guess I didn't realize they were ever ranked. I thought their sole existence was to pad the stats for the other SEC teams. Kind of like what Rutgers does for the B1G.

They finished ranked a couple times when Franklin was there. As bad as Vandy is, you can't compare them to Rutgers. Rutgers is one of the worst teams in FBS.

Oh, Rutgers is complete shit. Vandy is a step above that. I do think Vandy is getting better.

Well ya, most schools want to represent how great of a university they have. Students chaining themselves to camera equipment wouldn’t be a good look for Cal or ESPN.
