lel, it wasn't a "security officer". It was a local college kid working security.
Maybe Zeke just needs a get-back coach, amirite?

If the 6 years 90M reports are accurate and 35 to 40M are loaded into years 5 and 6 this is a team friendly deal.
hes been working with marshall faulk in mexico to be game ready. He comes in out of shape, thinks he's invincible, and tears up a leg in the first few weeks.
Prove me wrong, Zeke.
And probably 30 drops. Maybe his career ending injury was broken hands![]()
It the contract is money heavy in years 5 and 6 Jerry didn't cave.so i guess i was right? jerry kinda caved if its 6/90 i'm hearing.
depends on the details.so i guess i was right? jerry kinda caved if its 6/90 i'm hearing.
yep, where are the guarantees, if this is front loaded, then jerry caved, where are the "outs" for the cowboysdepends on the details.

i dont think there are rules......but it counts on the cap. So essentially Jerry would be front loading and giving him a large portion upfront and guaranteed.....I'm thinking it will be a large signing bonus. Otherwise Zeke won't get the money for another 2 years. Then the cost is spread over the 6 years of the contract evenly. Are there rules against signing bonus size? Could it be a $25M signing bonus?
The first thing they said on the topic was the floor of a deal starts with Gurley. Who knows how high Jerry was willing to go or where Zeke started with his wants. For all we know Jerry would have gone to $18M and won big time or maybe after letting Stephen deal with it for months he panicked and gave in completely to get Zeke here by week 1. I suspect we will never really know for sure.so i guess i was right? jerry kinda caved if its 6/90 i'm hearing.
