Durantula looked like he was on a mission. Too bad he didn't have that determination last year when they were up 3-1 on his now current team lol
and like i said yesterday- they won by 30...durant looked great.....but nothing changes....that white-hot-light is going to beo n him all year...its gonna be a long slog to the playoffs....

meanwhile- Cavs look amazing- there is absolutely zero pressure on tehm- they look relaxd and after 2 seasons playing together are looking like a cohesive unit.

cant wait till the rubber match in June.....should be unbelievable...i bet the NBA league office LOVES that the games 2 best players and so much star power on both teams- will likely face off for a 3rd straight time- which is unprecedented in NBA history...

I don't think it is a given both teams with make the Finals, but there is definitely a good chance. I think the Spurs are the top threat for the Warriors obviously, I also think the Clippers could give them fits.

For the Cavs, I think the Bulls and Celtics will give them fits probably the Pacers as well.

for some reason i think if the Clips are ever gonna do it its this year--- im not prepared to pick themo ver the Warriors....not yet at least.....but i think the Clips just might crash some parties this year.

Blake looks to be back to his old self, they will need him to play like a MVP to have a chance.

That could ultimately be the Warriors undoing. Normally, the pressure is on the defending champ to repeat. However, I think that while there will still be pressure for the Cavs to repeat, by getting Durant, the Warriors took probably 75% of the pressure off of the Cavs and put it on themselves.

If that pressure starts to wear them down, they'll be vulnerable. With the Spurs looking like they haven't dropped off much, if at all, they could keep the Warriors from even making the finals.

totally agree.

its funny though- i think that pressure on the Cavs last year- and the adversity it caused- hardened them for the playoffs. Sometimes that pressure and scrutiny and adversity can be a good thing....

obviously - with how mentally weak durant is- i think its more likely to be a negative for him....but we shall see....ya never know which way a guy is going to go--- and just because at one point they went one way doesnt mean they cant turn it around----like LeBron obviously caved like the Buffalo bills in the super bowl against the Mavs--- but the next year came up HUGE and totally transformed himself in Game 6 vs. Boston.....

Durant could shit all over himself this year- and then next year do the opposite....ya just never know.

Dirk could of gone to San Antonio Spurs, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, and even teams Toronto or the Clippers to have a chance to win another title. But he's loyal and stayed with the Mavericks. All I'm saying is was it that right move? As for why i'm wearing a Packer's jersey that's because i'm a huge Clay Matthews fan...
I notice you're wearing a packers jersey.
