Perhaps I should've said the actions immediately before, leading up to Beth's death scene. The demanding of Noah, Noah inexplicably (and for no logical reason) giving himself up, Beth's mini-scissor attack to a very non-lethal part of the body. To me, it was just sloppy writing.

Dawn was desperate to have total control over everything. Noah volunteered to give himself up if it meant getting Beth reunited with the group again plus you don't want this to turn into a blood bath.

Just finished the ep, my initial thoughts...

1) MORGAN!!! Ok, where did he earn his black belt in the ZA?

2) Nicholas is now, officially, Glenn's bitch. I predict he will be wearing a gimp outfit next season and will be following Glenn around on a leash. Will this cause trouble between Glenn and Maggie?

3) Deanna is WAY too emotional to be an effective leader. "No killing, unless I am distraught"

4) Morgan handing the map to Daryl was classic.

5) Typical redshirt. Why would any agent ever allow their client to wear a red shirt on a show.

6) for next season, I expect Ross Marquand and Lennie James to be added to the opening credits. Maybe josh McDermott as well. Tovah Feldshuh?

missed the last 10 minutes of the second showing. dont know what happened to rick after he exploded the head on his face. I thought that Daryl knew Morgan? Other than that, kinda disappointed w was for wolf.

Total culture shock: Tuning into TTD and listening to Morgan speak with a British accent. Even after all this time, I feel the same way when I hear Andrew Lincoln speak.

With that out of the way: good episode. The last half-hour kinda reminded me of the "Godfather" movies, when everything would build to a climax. Happy to see Glenn still kickin'.

I'm pretty sure that was the plan. Nick's a coward, he wanted to take care of business in that manner.

Good episode.

I was surprised when Glenn got shot and the possiblity of his demise. He is certainly a different character than when he started. The tension in each of the individual situations also played out very well.

But no really big explosion that I (and so many others) expected. Alexandria didn't fall. No main characters died. From that perspective it was a bit disappointing.

There is a direction to it though. We know that "the wolves" group is creating a group of the undead. We know that Morgan is aware of the group. So my guess is that Rick and company confront them, beat them up, and then they release the army of undead on Alexandria in a move of angry desperation.
