I've felt pretty good about this game all the way up to today. Then it dawned on me how many times in the Pelini era that I felt good about a big game only to not even recognize the Nebraska team on the field. They come out of the locker room completely confused and unprepared. Over coached if you will. I wouldn't be surprised if Ameer only gets 12 carries in this game and Bo/Beck get away from what Nebraska does best by trying to be sneaky.

Michigan St's got great skill players. As a junior, Cook is an outstanding QB throwing 69%. Up from 58% last season and 52% as a freshman. He was 61.7% at Oregon. His target is Lippett who averages 19 yds per catch.
My biggest concern is Langford. He's a power back with enough speed to take it the distance.

If Michigan St is smart they'll throw in a minor offensive wrinkle that Nebraska's defense hasn't prepared for. The over complicated Pelini scheme makes for difficulty in adjustments. Hands in the air looking to the sidelines shit.

Michigan St is a physical team and Nebraska's been soft up front defensively and in pass pro offensively. The O-line quitting in the second half against Illinois was disgusting. It's obvious Ameer has no leadership ability over coaches relatives.

Being a road game just adds to all that.

I give Nebraska about a 5% chance of winning and that would be because Michigan St turns it over about 3 more times than the Huskers.

If Nebraska turns it over more than Sparty then the Huskers will probably lose by 20 or more.

lol pretty much what I'm battling reality and prior history vs good feeling and hope.

can we finally break this cycle

If someone put a gun to your head and said, "you have to put all the money in your bank account on this game, if you get it wrong I pull the trigger."

What would you do?

Current line: MSU - 8.5

I'd go MSU and feel pretty confident that I'll live to see another day.

That spreads got stink all over it. There's a reason it opened at 7 and went up to 8 and 9 so fast.

McNeese St showed us what Nebraska was all about. Miami was a fun time and a good win. However, they are more poorly coached than Nebraska.

FAU, Fresno St, and Illinois are all turrible.

Where/how did I do that? What does that even mean?

Nebraska has been a top tier mid major in the Pelini era. I've proven that by showing Pelini's record against teams that ultimately end the season with 9 or more wins. His record is a disgrace and on the edge of fraudulent.

For the most part Nebraska gets top tier mid-major players. They certainly aren't desired by elite schools. Y'all slobber over every recruit that commits. The only recruit I've ever slobbered over was Ameer.

Yall just dont understand how good Tommy is is all

It's not Tommy I'm worried about. I love me some Tommy Armstrong.

It's the coaching staff, their nephew, and their sons.

This game is going to be played up front, irule. It'll be won with strength, conditioning, discipline and fundamentals. That's not current Nebraska football.

RA you're one of those guys where it seems like you're happier when we lose because it proves all of your negative views right.

R_A posts about midmajors not being eligible for playoffs

Someone asks if that includes ND

R_A went on post after post calling him stupid and that ND's history and money make them not a midmajor

Haha not solely as a 3rd down back but to beat up on the D I think we can soften Mich st defense up with cross.

I really wish I was as smart as you fellers tho, I guess I will just go back to eating dirt and chewin on sticks....

lol

Well, I'm no genius......and I eat dirt and chew on sticks........but I can guarantee you we aint gonna essentially bench the best RB in the College Football to try and ram a bigger dude at their D.

It just isn't gonna happen. We'll wear them out by letting Ameer make them miss, and THEN we'll pound Imani.

It's like kicking a guy when he's down. I love doing that!
