BANG BANG BLACK FLAG GBR!
I've felt pretty good about this game all the way up to today. Then it dawned on me how many times in the Pelini era that I felt good about a big game only to not even recognize the Nebraska team on the field. They come out of the locker room completely confused and unprepared. Over coached if you will. I wouldn't be surprised if Ameer only gets 12 carries in this game and Bo/Beck get away from what Nebraska does best by trying to be sneaky.
Michigan St's got great skill players. As a junior, Cook is an outstanding QB throwing 69%. Up from 58% last season and 52% as a freshman. He was 61.7% at Oregon. His target is Lippett who averages 19 yds per catch.
My biggest concern is Langford. He's a power back with enough speed to take it the distance.
If Michigan St is smart they'll throw in a minor offensive wrinkle that Nebraska's defense hasn't prepared for. The over complicated Pelini scheme makes for difficulty in adjustments. Hands in the air looking to the sidelines shit.
Michigan St is a physical team and Nebraska's been soft up front defensively and in pass pro offensively. The O-line quitting in the second half against Illinois was disgusting. It's obvious Ameer has no leadership ability over coaches relatives.
Being a road game just adds to all that.
I give Nebraska about a 5% chance of winning and that would be because Michigan St turns it over about 3 more times than the Huskers.
If Nebraska turns it over more than Sparty then the Huskers will probably lose by 20 or more.
lol pretty much what I'm battling reality and prior history vs good feeling and hope.
can we finally break this cycle
