He just strikes me as a guy who's content to not play, unless the stars align (good team who's desperate and willing to pay him what he wants).

We would be absolutely stupid to pay this guy the money he is asking. Considering the fact that we aren't stupid, he won't be playing here. I don't think anyone will pay this dude $5 million a year.

He wants about 5 mil ( he might drop that down now that a part of the season is over) AND he wants to play for a team that is contending for the title. He won't play anywhere unless some team is very desperate.

I think he'd still be worth it.

VERY happy the Niners at least tried to sign him. Maybe when the playoff picture gets a little clearer, the Niners will be one of the only teams who would want him. I'd take him at any point in the season; even at in the last week.

If Aldon's suspended 6 games, that clears up about 1.5 million more in cap space.

Ian Williams being on IR should clear up another 750K or so. That's 2.5.

You gotta think there's a way to clear up another 2.5 or so to get Seymour out of retirement.

Why would Aldon be suspended 6 games?

I'm not sure they can go re-sign Tukuafu since he was waived injured. Or there needs to be a period of time pass before they can sign him again. I don't know if it has been long enough. I'd have to look it up.
