PI is not called consistently by the refs in this league. If that play in the Cleveland-NE game was PI then about 50 percent of the pass plays in the Seattle-SF should have been flagged.

As much as I'd have loved for the Pats to lose, that ^, along with widespread Pats hate, are the only reasons for any controversy at all about the play in question. McFadden's right hand clearly grabs Boyce's left shoulder while the ball is in the air. Very likely a TD grab had it not been for the infraction.

The play should have been an incomplete pass with no flag at all.
