Just saw the play again....ummmmm, ya, it was def not PI. Maybe a hold or illegal contact.....maybe!!! IMO, not worth calling. I think had Boyce not been touched, he could have caught that, maybe the Ref thought that little grab impeded him from making a clean catch.. I am not sure anymore. The rules are all over the place this yr, and these Refs have been pretty shitty if you ask me. So many twist to the rules it's confusing.

The problem with that play is that they blew the whistle before the play was over. It was a clear fumble and would have changed game momentum. Forward progress was ruled and they blow the whistle within a fraction of a second, according to the rules. How many times does that happen? The runner was still fighting for yards when they blew the whistle.

It was a BS call. There were many BS calls all game. Against both teams, but more against the Pats early. Gordon and Talib were going at it pretty heavy, some initiated by Gordon, some by Talib. Fumbles, Intentional Groundings. Holding...

I really thought the refs started thinking about their safety while leaving the stadium. That was a BS call. Holding at the 8. Not PI in the endzone.
