Release the Kraken - Fuck the Canucks
You are a hot mess with them man. You didn't like them, then you did, but you didn't like what you saw on Saturday, but they are too strong to lose.Wiz,
Have you watched Stanford play?
They did look great in ASU game. No doubts.
But I will say this. The TEs are missed big time after watching the WSU Stanford replay. They dropped balls, WRs werent running good routes. Hogan looked just barely avg.
Defense played well.
But as a team they had some head scratching penalties that you usually dont see from Stanford.
Admittedly, I am nit picking. But I did see some flaws bigger than I expected from a very good team.
They usually lose 2 games a year since Harbaugh/Shaw era. Dont see that changing. See 2 losses both in conference play.
You don't have to convince me of anything. I'm already on record as saying I don't expect to win and their path to the CCG is easier than anyone else. However I don't think this is as cut and dry as you think.
It boils down to Price and how he performs. Stanford has probably the worst HFA in the conference. At least among the bigger players. No one fears that crowd. They do have a stronger defense, but no crowd to enhance it.
Which will be the best QB on the field that game. Easy to pick Hogan, but Price leads the pac in several QB stats including completion percentage. Given how many weapons he has if he gets on any kind of a roll it will be a long night for their D.
Which RB will be the best on the field that game. Is that even a question? Sankey is one of the top in the nation and so far Stanford hasn't impressed with their rushing.
Stanford has been showing a lot more of the spread sets in their last two games because they don't have the same stud TE's they had last year. UW doesn't fear the spread. Their base D is built to stop the spread and Shaq will tear up those short dunk routes. Stanford must do much better at their power run game if they are to win.
As I already said, Price and ASJ have to have bigger games this week and we all know UW has had their struggles on the road, but Stanford doesn't have much of a HFA.
That much of a lock? Nope, no sir. Not going to buy it.
