Their young QB didn't look that great last week so I kind of agree. He is a big kid with lots of speed and upside, but makes a lot of mistakes that will not work out well for them against a Pac defense.

Well OSU's D sucks right now with 2 speed LBs down, 1 coming back next week. A Beaver O that's on fire against lesser teams, but O-lineman dropping like flies after today.

Should be interesting game and fairly even as I project it.

Man, this was not a great day for the Pac. Oregon state struggled, WSU and USC are both looking bad in the first conference game of the year, stanford isn't looking very good, Cal barely beat a FCS school, and the rest of the conf looked good playing nobody.

I'd have to grade OR St's performance tonight with a C- in the 1st half and maybe a B- in the 2nd half. The pick-6 going into halftime by Hawaii must've gotten the coaches to light a fire under the defense's butts and they held Hawaii in the 2nd half better. This shaky start for the Beavs isn't inspiring confidence but a win is a win and they better be ready next week. The pick'ems is a toss-up but it's all in fun anyway. I just didn't think anyone but OR and ASU would cover the spreads. Utah's blowout win was surprising. Had to catch the Beaver game on the lame-ass CBS gametracker again but have the USC game going right now on Fox Sports 1. WSU sure showed up ready to play and are giving USC all they can handle.

I won't bring up Wash, Oregon or Texas...ALL games the Beavs were in late in the 3 quarts or better last year.

If I had to put up a bet right now I'd take Oregon State straight up, but I reserve the right to change that when the line comes out.
