Oregon Men track and field team won their 7th straight Pac title while the Oregon Women took their 5th in a row. GO DUCKS!!

Yeah!! This year they're going start 0-6 before finishing 6-6!!

No, that won't happen either. We will beat Sac State the first game. Many ASU fans predict we'll be 2-2 or 3-1 after that tough 4 game stretch early in the year. I'm not sure what we'll do just yet. I know we have a chance in every game and as much as I love my Sun Devils and know they are not the same team as before, I'm still gun shy about lofty predictions.

If you look at the lists of students that are noteworthy from both schools the list is at least 3 times longer for UW and it should be given the size difference.

You know full well I have family and friends who went to WSU and I have nothing against the academics of it, but when you try to question the academics of UW I have to point out what a tard you are.

I never question the lists of UW alumnus, just thought it was a fun little thing to google the schools. Nor did I ever question UW's academic programs as pretty much anyone can see that academically as a whole UW is far superior.

I questioned sissiness of 80% of the Washington residents who choose UW because they are momma's boys. But UW football fans I wouldn't exactly qualify as sissies but again, you are talking about two different people in people that attend UW and UW football fans.

something like 20% of the undergrads and 50% of graduate students are from out of state. Maybe, just maybe the in state kids go there because of how high it is ranked as an institution world wide. UW is ranked 16th in the world by ARWU and 13th in the world by HRLR. If you care about the reputation your diploma gives you the choice is crystal clear.

If you want to smoke crystal instead you go to WSU.

The funny thing is the Husky mascot is never actually a siberian husky. For whatever reason the mascot is always an alaskan malamute. This one is named 'dubs' and is around 4 years old now. He was cute as hell as a puppy which is why I keep that pic as my avatar.

I just always found it interesting they used a malamute so I was just putting it out there as a general FYI. I mean I know the malamute is considered part of the 'husky' family and is the largest dog in it, but it is still interesting they have used a malamute for the better part of the last 60 years.

Live animal mascots always create interesting stories over the years. One of the first husky mascots was allowed to roam the stands during the game. There was one that got away from their handlers during a game with Illinois and the dog went out on the field and into the Illinois huddle and started licking the hands of the players. Forced UW to burn a time out. Before they had just one dog they actually had two that pulled a sled into the stadium on game day. It wasn't until the mid 90's that UW created their human mascot 'harry the husky' to attend events the live dog doesn't. Before that the dog would go to a lot more events. Dubs is the 13th official live mascot and may be one of the cutest. At least when he was a puppy.

Watching the dog run out in front of the team before both halves is a tradition I can remember all the way back to my childhood.

Wish some of the beaver fans would have made the move over here. The back and forth between the oregon and beaver fans was always good.

What's lacking around this joint is "common sense". Let bring in some lite on the subject of this coming PAC12 season.

Let's not forget that those pesky Stanford Cardinals have to travel North to Corvallis this year, along with the Dawgs too. Beavers should have beat both of those squads in their houses last year. If not for a 4th quart "phantom fumble" and a "no call" PF on WR Wheaton in Huskie Stadium, Beavers would have gone to the Rose and beaten Consin twice last year. Make no mistake about that.

Point is...This coming year is "payback time" for all the wrongs of last year.

And you Bozoz thought ol' Wubz was gone in cyber space forever? Really? It was just a matter of time before my hound dog tracked ya'll down and treed ya for me to find.

Just in time for this weekends "epic match up" in basaballa wif those newbies to the south of the Beavers. Time to put up or STFU as far as baseballs concerned eh Mamba?


BTW...Nice to see Whiz "showin off" the new digz here...too bad his club has to travel this year to play me Beavs and we don't have to play in that hellhole called Husky Stadium. Ducks crap a doo doo there this year, but time will tell there.

Welcome to the hoop man. Nice to have someone else to help me keep all these darned water fowl in line.

As for UW@OSU way too early to tell how to call that one. I can say this, the beavs have been tough on UW for quite some time with a lot of late game last second wins going both ways. Should be a good game.

Obviously I have my sights set on BSU and Oregon as the first half of the season is where it counts right now.
