I hear ya here whiz, not alot to show for having all those great backs. State has NEVER HAD a complete O at one time, meaning a potent passing AND running game at the same time.

HOWEVERS...

IF the last 2 games from last year have ANY indication of this upcoming season, we just may have "lightning in a bottle" THIS year.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...:suds:

I meant in terms of knowing what kind of pro career they had on top of it.

I was mostly taking into consideration their college career, but if that is part of the conversation then it is Corey Dillon hands down. He was not only electric at UW, but rushed for 11,000 yards in the NFL. Dillon was one of the most successful Huskies at the NFL level.

That, and his then NCAA record of having over 300y in one quarter that game was amazing. Never seen a back at any level get 300y in one quarter. He was a freaking men among boys at W.

Shit, we are trudging right along toward the Pac12 thread v3 aren't we?

I guess Mamba was right that it would flip well before the season starts. Need a little less than 400 and I'm sure Mamba will have half that himself before the end of July.

QB Travis Waller (Anaheim, CA) said he will be announcing his commit tomorrow morning. One of the better dual-threat QB's for the 2015 class. Ducks are looking like the favs.

Who is the competition? I know a lot of the west coast teams already have their guy/guys (USC, UCLA, ASU, I assume Washington)

Washington already has Jake Browning committed so no.

When QB Blake Barnett decommitted from Notre Dame after a weekend visit to Oregon, many assumed he was going to commit to the Ducks. But soon after, he committed to Alabama.

Waller and him have very similar game. Tall, dual threat guys. Waller then became the top target for the Ducks.

With Barnett bailing on ND, ND then became interested in Waller. Ohio State has also offered him.

I'd say right now it's a two horse race between Oregon and ND. But Oregon appears the fav.

I dont know why everyone is freaking out about oregon not having a QB commit for the 15 class and why they assume that Barnett would have been or Waller or Francois whomever Oregon might get will automatically become the next guy up after Mariota.
Dont get me wrong I would be happy to get either but there is still also top 10 QB recruit Mahalak Oregon got in this class 14.

Whose freaking out? It's July. Most PAC recruit classes are 1/3 to 1/4 full. I don't give a rip ultimately who the Ducks end up with in the end besides not flipping any of UWs commits. I just like the PAC recruiting process so I post these updates on recruits I think are good gets for certain schools.

One thing is glaring though. You've had some QB transfers lately and I wouldn't just bank on anointing Mahalak the next instant starter for the next 2 to 3 years when Mariota leaves. Taking at least 1 QB this class for the Ducks would make sense. Especially given it was an incredible year for QB talent on the west coast for the 2015 classes.

I don't know who's freaking out. Just pointing out that most of the west coast schools that can actually draw a high profile high school QB right now already have their guy, so it would seem pretty likely that Oregon will get him. Most guys don't go across the country to play.

Waller commits to Oregon. Coach Olyduck is currently driving over to the Oregon foot ball operations offices to yell at Helfrich about taking a QB in this class.
