Bunch of 3 star PAC players that will turn into vital pieces of the conferences coming dominance no doubt.

8. QB Cyler Miles, Washington
Particulars: 6-4, 217, sophomore
Buzz: Keith Price has moved on to the NFL and new head coach Chris Petersen has a number of options he can go with under center. Although Miles missed spring practice due to disciplinary issues, he is the most talented quarterback on the Huskies' roster and is the only one with significant game experience. He showed flashes in 2013 and his mobility presents an extra dimension for teams to defend. If he earns Petersen's trust and ends up as the starter, the sky is the limit for Miles.

Hate to say it because he is such a piece of shit, but I think Miles has a bright future. He reminds me a lot of Colin Kaepernick (in good ways).

Considering purchasing season tickets this year.

Get the tickets either way. Always a great day on game days. Most games I go on the old purple school bus that gets to park in the exit lane between alaska airlines pavilion and the main lot. Can't miss us. Tried to get Mamba to have a beer with us there when they came up last time, but he kind of failed on that. I'd rather have a dawg join us anyway.

UW just landed commit from 4-star WR Isaiah Renfro 6'2" (Chatsworth, CA). :suds: We needed 1 to 2 true WR prospects over 6'0" this class so it's a perfect get. Got to laugh at how the media tried to claim that Petersen could struggle to recruit at a major conference level like the PAC. Yahh right.

And it would be a great year to have season tickets for UW this year SF234 or at least attend a few of them. You got Illinois (Big10), Stanford, Arizona State, UCLA, and OSU all playing at Husky stadium this year. Those will be some nice games.

Gazing at those PAC schedules right now, if the Huskies find a way to beat Stanford on Sept 27th and took care of business with our OOC games.

And if the Ducks win those MSU and UCLA games...

"6-0 Huskies rumblin, tumblin down to Autzen on Oct 18th to face a 6-0 Ducks. Whooooooa Nellie!!!"

Busy week out west for recruiting.

3-star OT Calvin Thockmorton (Newport, WA) has committed to the Ducks this afternoon. His offers included PAC schools Zona, ASU, Cal, Utah, Washington, and WSU. Boise St., Miami, Arkansas, and Michigan had also offered.

The Ducks have also offered 4-star QB Travis Waller. Appears this will be their high choice after Blake Barnett surprisingly committed to Bama this week.

Any time this kid plays I will end up laughing now. If you are in the medical field you know why. if not look up throckmorton sign. still solid pickup for Oregon but they are going heavy (no pun) on the O line so far. time to start signing some D line guys. and even if Oregon strikes out on QB this year Mahalak in the class of 14 should be a fine replacement for Mariota when the time comes.

Lolz Whiz...ya gotz me here...there was 1 other Beav fan on here that wanted Vaz to start EVERY game after Mannion went down with an injury. Mannion went on to have the BEST Pac passing stats, but that mattered little to "Native" in his quest for Vaz starting over Mannion. I hated that Beav fan...rediculous.

Yeah, yeah there are a few diehard Dawg fans on here, but they are more "lap Dawg" fans than anything else.

GL2U Huskie fans this year, just NOT when your playing my club tho.:yahoo:

Oh we know well your feud with native. I hope he will be back for the season next year as he adds his own little spice to this thread.

As for our fan base, after the depths this program has been to the one thing you can say is the fans we do have are mostly the die hards. Most of the bandwagon type of fans were weeded out quite well by Willingham. I'm sure a few have returned here and there, but mostly it's the real fans left around these parts. But I'm not bandwagon hater. Lots of those kinds of fans around here for the Seahawks and all are welcome to me. Don't care how long you have been interested in one of my teams or that you will bail at the first sign of a down turn. If you support the purple and gold or the other teams around here you are ok in my book.

ASU had a good weekend for it's Oline as well.

Lands commits from 3 stars OT Steve Miller and OG Cade Cote. Both from Gilbert, Arizona. Solid get by Graham to keep the wall up on those locals.

Steve Miller was up at UW this past weekend for the Rising Stars camp, but was considered a heavy lean to ASU so not shocked at all.

The Zona schools are now both at double digits for the size of their commit classes so far ( Zona at 14 & ASU at 10), USC (9), Oregon (8), UCLA, WSU, and Utah (6), UW, and Utah (5), Stanford, Colorado, and Oregon St. (4).

NFL.com's college sports writer Bryan Fischer lists his 14 top college head coaches.

PAC represents:

14) Mike Riley, Oregon State
Career record: 88-73
NFL draft picks the last five years: 9
In addition to being one of the best coaches in college football, you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer coach in the sport than Riley. He might not yell and scream like others on this list, but he's a sharp offensive football mind and knows how to get the best out of players who often aren't as talented as those they line up against. Plus, how many top-notch coaches ride their bike to work everyday?

4) David Shaw, Stanford
Career record: 34-7
NFL draft picks the last five years: 17
There's a reason his name pops up anytime there's an NFL opening, because owners would love to see the calm demeanor he has combined with a great coaching acumen on their sideline. People think he just inherited what Jim Harbaugh did on "the Farm," but Shaw was a major part of the Cardinal's rise to become a national power and has elevated the program to become a championship-winning one. Plus, you'll find no coach on this list who can diagram plays and discuss politics with presidents quite like Shaw.

2) Chris Petersen, Washington
Career record: 92-12
NFL draft picks the last five years: 14
Some people will continue to rail against Petersen for the conference he played in, but it doesn't matter where you coach, an 88 percent winning percentage in FBS college football is good. He is one of the best at identifying mismatches to exploit on offense, and has a great reputation for finding talent and developing it. He'll face a step up in competition at Washington, but make no mistake -- he's a talented coach who runs a top-notch program.
