Let's talk about issues in Tucson.

How much longer of a leash does Rich Rod get? Thinking about it, Arizona most likely loses its remaining 2 games. Finishing the season 6-6 and 3-5 in conference. I'd imagine with their new digs they might get that seat warm going into next year if he produces another 6 or 7 win season.

Stoops didn't leave that cupboard that empty. Zona teams were always competitive with Stoops.

It all depends on what happens next season. They will have a very talented team. If he can't produce at least 8 wins his seat will get really warm.

Every PAC team has a road loss

With OSU losing in Tempe, now every PAC team has a road loss.

Interesting that the Beavs were the last team to fall on the road.

Washington State and Utah playing for a bowl bid in the Pallouse Saturday.

Utah loses, they are eliminated from bowl bid.

WSU loses they will have to win in Seattle vs UW to become eligible.

Big stakes for these two programs here.

I don't know if the seat is hot in Tucson next season, even if AZ ends 6-6. Fact is, with Denker being better than we thought, and losing Austin Hill for the year, most AZ fans didn't expect much more than 6-6. Good news is that the D is better than we thought it'd be.

I think that RR gets a couple more years to bring in the talent that we hope he will. Time will tell.

Palm has WSU in. That means he has WSU beating Utah.

With Stanford losing many including Palm project the BCS passing on Stanford for Wisconsin for that Orange Bowl bid that had a PAC teams name on it. Cant disagree. With only one PAC team likely being selected for a BCS bowl, all PAC teams get bumped back a notch for bowl game...:lame:

Palm's Projections

Rose: Oregon vs Ohio State

Alamo: Stanford vs Oklahoma

Holiday: Arizona State vs Texas

Sun: UCLA vs North Carolina

Vegas: Boise State vs USC

Kraft Fight Hunger: Washington vs BYU

New Mexico: San Jose State vs Oregon State

*Independence: Arizona vs Georgia Tech

*Little Cesars: Washington State vs Ball State

* Non PAC affiliated bowls.

Bowl season. Second in a row. I say let RR build that program up. He is a great fit in Tucson imo.

UCLA pulled a terrible opponent imo. I like the USC and UW matchups.

Time will tell what we really get soon enough.

ASU wins next week they'll play Oregon in the Pac-12 Champ in Tempe.

As good as Oregon is, you don't want to play a healthy ASU in Tempe.. Fear the Devil.

Confidence is great but I don't see ASU as the type of team to give 0regon much trouble at all.

Prove me wrong. Please!!! :suds:

43 points in 11 minutes vs ASU in Tempe last time Oregon showed up there.

And the game would be at Autzen as Oregon is higher ranked.

The game will be in Eugene if Oregon wins out. The tiebreaker is BCS ranking.

USC matches up better with Stanford than Oregon does. They would beat duckberg as well.

USC has the talent, they just lack depth.

It is amazing how stupid you can be sometimes. You are only half right. USC matched up better, yes. USC beats Oregon, no. Wake up dude. This is exactly like saying that Utah beats Oregon because they beat Stanford.

Agreed, but also wouldn't be surprised if they squeaked one out.. Statistically ASU has the best defense in the PAC and a top-10 offense.. They have the D-line to get in the backfield and disrupt the mesh but struggle against good TEs. If the game was in Eugene it'd be a blowout.

*The site of the Pac-12 Championship Game will be the home stadium of the division champion with the best overall conference record. In the event that the two division champions are tied, then the head-to-head record shall be used as the tiebreaker. Should they remain tied after that tiebreaker, then a BCS component will be used.

Well, prepare for a blowout. lol...
