San Diego's Stadium

San Francisco's new stadium(theoretical)

They should have it in San Diego in my opinion... it's more neutral and has more of a championship stadium look to it.

:wtf2:

What does that even mean?

Have you been to Jerry World yet? Talk about setting the bar high for stadiums. Comfort, ease of access to seating, concessions and bathrooms. Cleanliness, view, replay screen. Not a bad seat in that house.

I'm sure the new stadium in San Fran will be just as epic.

Qualcomm on the other hand was built in the 60s. Not much else to say. It's out of date.

Santa Clara is just as neutral as San Diego.

Santa Clara by a long shot. Way cheaper for us NWest fans. It is perfect if they had to go away from former format. Right in the middle.

Mark is right Qualcomm is not that great a venue.

This new joint is top notch.

It has more symmetry, so to speak. It's the same all the way around, like Atlanta, NOLA, Orange, Rose, Charlotte, Indianapolis, and other venues. Ohio State, Oregon, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, and a few other places are uneven (not saying that's a bad thing, helps home field advantage)-- kinda like what the 49ers new stadium will be. But it doesn't look like a "neutral" stadium.

I've been in the Death Star bout a dozen times in suites, end zones and 50 yard line - Mark you are so right. I despise the Cowboys but the stadium Jerry did it right - except for the east/west alignment. Players complain of the sunlight coming through the west end on Sunday afternoon games,

Mark & Mamba you hit nail on head - new epic venue located right in the middle of the map of the PAC vs San Diego it's not even close.

lol. I already called one stadium in SoCal a sump tonight. Didn't want to make it a twofer. But ya, u hit the nail on the head.

The state is 330+ billion in debt. SF moving out of candledump was 10+ years too late, but hats off to them actually getting a stadium built in that state because it's a nightmare to get any city involved in that. Santa Clara is swimming in silicon valley tax revenue and tech millionaires. Was the only way to get the deal done and it's in a superior location than Candledump from a weather and safer neighborhoods perspective.

Qualcomm is a dump. Something that looks like it belongs in Mexico City.

For the fools.

I always park on the East side of Arlington Park, where the rangers play. There is no charge, its a short 5 min walk. Let the lazy folk pay for that stupid shit. Suckers.

The problem is it's hard to throw a kid off the team when there wasn't any charges even filed against him.

You know I wouldn't have been sad to see him go, but when you are setting up standards for your program to follow I'm not sure how you justify that harsh of a punishment. Then the next time a kid might have been involved but not charged do you always kick?

Stringfellow was easy and thank god they did the right thing and he is leaving the team. He is arguably a bigger talent than Miles. His upside was huge, but pleading out on 3 charges made that call super easy and our team is better off without him no matter how much his skills might be missed.

I still wouldn't be surprised to see Miles suspended for at least the first game. As I said on the UW board making him stay home while the rest of the team gets to fly to Hawaii to play a game is a hell of an added punishment.

I would like to have seen him leave, but I fully understand why he wasn't kicked. If the police didn't have enough evidence of his involvement in the attacks we are kind of stuck where we are.

Miles was just as guilty as Stringfellow was, if anything probably more so since Miles was the one who was actually from Colorado. I don't know all of the details of the case, but just being there tells me Miles was likely just as involved as Stringfellow was. Miles is just as much of a thug as Stringfellow is and deserves equal punishment.

I'm not going to hang my head over it since I can rationalize giving Miles another chance, but it just saddens me to see another piece of shit get away with acting like a major douchebag. Miles has NFL talent in my opinion, I'm hoping whatever punishment that is given to Miles is severe. Miles needs to be seriously punished for his own personal development, he needs to learn having incredible athletic ability is not a pass to do whatever he wants in life.

One will never read similar sentiments from a Bammer or Seminole.

Rep hawksfan :suds:

Honestly I love Husky football, but I feel as if the school and community should come first. If that means removing a key player for his actions off the field, then so be it.

I don't recall if I posted this, but I commend Oregon on their handling of their basketball players. The police report I read sounded sketchy, but they were definitely up to no good and kudos to Oregon for actually holding their players accountable for their actions and not just looking the other way. I honestly least expected it from Oregon.

Wait, so teams in the ACC are considering scheduling other ACC teams as non conference games? lol. Games that then wouldn't count as conference games, even though they are.

Just go to 9 games then ffs.

This is why we need uniformity at some level.

Dont show disgust now, they voted several days ago. New information coming out doesnt change the obvious and they need someone to play those games they cannot fill due to other teams trying to increase, not decrease their SoS. Afterall, isnt the ACC dead last out of the power 5?

How does that equate to needing uniformity?
