Ha ha I see you apparently believe CFB began in 2010. You basically said some middle of the road SEC teams would be decent to pretty good in other conferences when there is absolutely zero proof to that, on the other hand, it's already proven that 2 middle of the road Big 12 teams can immediately be decent to pretty good in the SEC.

Yes, 2010. You totally got me, I believe that is when college football began and it had nothing to do with showing that Missouri was better than "middle of the road" in the years leading up to the conference change.

And change where they play in the SEC East, which means not present on their schedule this past year: LSU, Alabama, Auburn(who they lost to in the SECCG). They did however beat A&M from the west, and then go on to beat Oklahoma St in the bowl game, who just so happened to be 2nd or maybe 3rd best in the Big12, depending on where you put Baylor, who they beat in the regular season.

And Texas A&M? Has yet to finish better than 3rd in their own division of the SEC.

Ok 4down20, have a seat. It's lesson time.
1. no one has a choice about conference games, someone else sets them, they are what they are.
2. everyone has a choice about their non-conference games. And in those games, your school has been scheduling like a coward for ten years. Every year, the formula is the same. One major, but beatable school, on a neutral field or at home if you can. One hopeless FCS school and two bad FBS schools, all at home.
3. It's a matter of budgets. Alabama is one of the richest programs in America, they could play anyone, anywhere, and probably be favored. But they CHOOSE to play teams with a tiny fraction of the budget and few name players, all at home, and all with virtually NO chance of winning.
4. At least Colorado is a top school with a major conference budget. Yeah, they've been bad lately, but they are a good recruiting class and a head coach away from being respectable. That ain't happening with UT Chattanooga or FAU or W. Carolina or those other sad sacks you trot in.

If you still want to argue, you'll need to stay after class and write "I am an idiot who only cheers for my team and cannot ever admit that anything is wrong, greedy, or cowardly about them, not now, not ever..." for every FCS, last place Sun Belt, CUSA, or MAC team you've played. Should fit onto a page or two.

LMFAO!

I've read and responded to all 3 of his paragraphs multiple times over the past year. I have no reason to continue it. If he did such a good job "owning me", then I guess the rest of you will be able to own me later when I actually read it.

Not to worry....

The little fellow reads every word. And since he cannot possibly refute the facts I have laid out, he resorts to doing the I can't hear you game. I would expect nothing less from a fan from a fanbase known for its myopia and tone deafness.

Although I do agree with you that 4/20 is a whiny, immature bitch, but didn't BSU play an FCS school last year?

OK, Boise State has opened on the road every single year against anyone who will play them. This year in Atlanta vs. an SEC school for the third time. An SEC school is yet to visit Boise? How about your school? We'd love to play you, want to come to Boise? Didn't think so. Over the years, Boise beat Oregon in Eugene the year they went to the Rose Bowl, Georgia the year they won the SEC East, VT the year they won the ACC and went to the Orange Bowl, and so on.

But its damn hard to play teams who'd rather beat up on cupcakes. And one can only play so many road games. Boise has played only two FCS teams lately, one in 2009, one in 2014. Bama does it every single year. If you can figure out how to play teams that won't play you, I'm all ears.

Notice how he can't answer the question about his own team, so he tries the "quick change the subject" tactic.

Oh, so when you play that 1 SEC team it's a big deal. An SEC team most people would call "middle of the pack" at best. But when Alabama plays 8 of them, well that doesn't matter. I see.

You wouldn't love to play Alabama. You just love to claim that because you know it's not going to happen. Why? Because Boise St won't accept their place in the college football world and makes crazy demands for games so they can turn them down and pretend like nobody will play them.

Where is even 1 bit of proof that Alabama won't play Boise St? Or is it more like - Alabama has no reason to play a home and home with a team that can't even sell out their crappy less than 40k seating stadium and yet still demands a payday from the other team as if they are somehow selling the stadium/game.

Face it, the bottom line is Boise St is a 5 cent piece of bubble gum with a $100 price tag. And because nobody is buying it, you just want to sit around and blame everyone else.

You talk about your big 1 game a year as if it's something. Hell, the team you think is so big this year, Alabama plays every year and it's not even one of the top3 opponents of the year, maybe not even top5 opponents.

In fact, the teams you call "cupcakes", you would call your conference games.

So you know, when Alabama is playing a Boise St type schedule, feel free to blow on my nuts again. Until then, I'm just going to keep on assuming that it's just another one of the 3 bullshit paragraphs you post over and over - just as this one was.

God I hate to admit it, but 4/20 has a point. If BSU ever wants to host a major program in Boise, ID, they are going to have to expand that high school stadium to at least 45K-50K, at least that. 99% of major programs are not going to take a loss financially to travel to Boise. Texas would, only to appease our alumni who live on that side of the country, but that's b/c Texas prints money like the US mint and money is no object. It's actually really awesome for a small college town to host a major program like Texas. I didn't make the trip, but when Texas played Wyoming in Larimie back in '09, some of my friends did make the trip and said the entire town was so excited, every bar was jam packed and crazy and Wyoming's stadium was standing room only for the game (Even though it only seats 32K). Mainly, this game gave our alumni a chance to watch the Horns play who live in that part of the US and it mainly happened due to former Longhorn Coach Fred Akers's ties with Wyoming. Texas definitely isn't afraid to travel to play a mid major.
