There is also all the other criteria. to be eligible had to have coached 10 years 100 games won 60% and retired at least 3 years from coaching.

I thought you were the mighty ducks. Didn't think you needed to stoop to such depths to make your program look better. We don't cut off 'best of all time' lists each time the conf expanded and changed names to match it. No one cares who the best was of JUST the pac8, or today with the pac12. It's unnecessary subdivision meant to showcase a smaller set of stats to inflate the view of something.

The coach in conf history with the most wins should include all coaches of any school in the pac. Anything else is a farce and you know it. Nice try though. Just laugh that duck fans need to make shit up to make up for their lack of history. You all are dominate in the conference now so why feel the need for revisionist history to make up for the past? Just enjoy the ride now while it is still going on as nothing in college football lasts forever.

Yeah because no one ever talks about "the last decade" "the BCS era" or era per coach.
Are you telling me you have never said the Don James era or years?
and what did I make up? it is what it is.

Also I wasn't trying to make up for anything I mean he is still third on the list and probably could have had the record within 4 more seasons.

So you don't see a difference between talking about something in an 'era' and talking about the winningest coach in conf history? :L

Of course people talk about eras and those who did the 'best of the BCS era' and other nonsense like that are just trying to make themselves feel better by looking at some small set of data that makes them look good. See USC talking about the 2k's. Fans do that shit. Just didn't think you did. Was proven wrong.

thats why I said it is a technicality.
In the Pac 10 era that spanned 33 years he is the winningest coach.
in the history of the Pacific coast conferece, Athletic Association of Western Universities, Pac 8/10/12 he was 3rd either way not bad and dont feel bad about it so no need and was not trying to make myself feel better about it.

I'd say:

North

Oregon
Stanford
Washington
Oregon St.
Wazzou
Cal

South

UCLA
USC
ASU
Arizona
Utah
Colorado

I think the North is pretty well Oregon's to lose this year. Stanford loses too much and Washington will need at least one season for Peterson to get his system, etc. in place and adjust to the better competition he will see.

In the South, I could easily see UCLA, USC or ASU winning with Arizona as a dark horse. Utah is likely still a couple of seasons away from being a serious contender in the South (although they could have a say in who ultimately wins it) and poor ol' Colorado is looking at another few seasons of getting their heads kicked in.

 I forgot to add in my post, that I see the Beav's as a dark horse (like Arizona in the South). While I don't think the Beavs will win the North, I think they may very well decide who does. They will pull the upset on someone and if it's the Ducks, it may hand the North to Stanford or Washington.

Should be a very interesting race in both divisions.
