Well I'm hoping two of those young current FA (former Ducks) get the itch to go play for Kelly, cause he needs both Byrd, and Ward in that Philly secondary asap!

Oregon State's Jesse Lewis?

I don't even know that guy's name, musta been back in my LSD daze.

Ah ha!

J Lewis was DT for Beaver HC Dee "The Great Pumpkin" Andros's "Giant Killer" team that stuffed the then #1 USC Trojans and OJ Simpson 3-0 in a mud bowl game in Corvallis in 67'. He was an All American 2-time NCAA westling champion in the heavyweight division also. STUD MUFFIN!

Congratz my man! I was just a punk back then.

As in the former Miami Dolphin Martin???
Yes that Martin (he is also taking his last class), Ertz is on campus as well and a couple other guys. 1-2 weeks every off season a bunch of the former players come to campus to train together.

Who's got #1???

Without bothering to look it up, I'm going to guess Don James. Unless you count Frank Kush I guess, but his body of work was primarily pre ASU joining the Pac 10. Think that'd be a different trivia question though

I've always been sort of curious about just how big of a win total Kush would have put up had he not been forced out. He was gone partway through the 79 season, was younger than Paterno and had a lot more wins at the time than Joe Pa.

According to:

Washington Coaching Records

Don James won 153 games with the Huskies.

Well if this is the fact, and if the math I learned many, many, many years ago tells me that is two more wins for coach James over Donahue, so in reality Coach James has the most wins in the Pac....

Yeah, doesn't surprise me. I actually had to go to 3-4 different sites to compile the list. The closest that I could find to a website that had an actual list was some blog that only counted conferences wins. That one had Donahue with 98 and James with 97.
