[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixhZEfl_MyU]Ed Hochuli "stretching out balls call" MNF - YouTube[/ame]

Yeah yeah, not really college football related, but you can see how far the apple falls from the tree when we have his kid as one of our fine Pac12 head refs. Close enough right? :noidea:

Nearly blew my drink out of my nose when he said it live. Thought he said we didn't let the teams go because we were stretching our balls.

Love me some Hochuli calls at any level.

Ideas for optional pick'em champion avatars. Depending on which of them wins of course.

So a Fusky fan friend of mine from HS threw out this idea. Jim Zorn....how does the Dawg pound feel about that as a suggestion?

It would be cool but he does not really have any head coaching experience in college and was mediocre in the NFL. Appears to be a good QB coach but I do not believe he would make a decent college head coach.

Too many red flags. I like the personal connection to Seattle Zorn has but would not want him as head coach.

With Mora signing a contract extension at UCLA my attention moves over to Chris Petersen. I believe him to be a better coach than Mora but initially preferred Mora because I liked the connection he has to the region and really wanted him to have the opportunity to succeed in the pacific northwest.

I saw a lot of venom on some comment sections about Mora signing an extension with UCLA. Personally I don't blame him. He has a great thing going at UCLA currently and has been fucked over by the Seahawks and passed over by the Huskies. It would have been cool to see him come up here but I don't hold it against him and can understand his reasoning.

I thought he said "Switching out our balls"?

UW had to settle for Sark when they looked for a coach last time. They didn't get a lot of bites from established coaches, even the up and coming types. They had to take a chance on a promising assistant.

This time around there is no reason they should even think about it. I don't know who they will go for, but if it is at all possible to have someone with real college head coaching experience that is obviously a big plus.

Maybe my memory is not serving my right but didn't UW interview Mike Leach? I am pretty sure this was before the whole locking the kid in the closet thing and at that time he was a very highly viewed head coach as he was having a lot of success at Texas Tech.

Good news for Huskies fans:

Tosh Lupoi says that he has no plans to leave - UW Dawg Pound

The guy is a terrific recruiter and says he plans to stay. Not sure if he means it or not. If he does, props to him.

I honestly think Leach is better at what he does than Sark is at what he does. Now. If only Leach was the least bit concerned about defense...

What did we ever decide about 3rd place tie? Do I need to fill out a thing?

I'm just personally not a fan of the throw it 60 times run it 5 times offense. I have no problem with the hurry up, or the spread offense, I just prefer a balance.

Leach is a smart guy I just don't like the offense he runs. Or the fact that he doesn't even run a defense.

Sark: "Whoever gets that job at the University of Washington is walking into a great situation. .. They're going to reap some of the benefits of my hard work."

Christ Sark. Show some class & STFU. Talk about turning the knife. It would be like some parent abandoning their spouse and children with no warning, and then saying, "Whoever marries into this next will reap the benefits of my hard work."

Sark already has the L.A. narcissism lip service down. Maybe he can dump his wife next and hookup with a USC song girl.

Either way he's gone and we can move on to more then 7 wins!
