Mamba posted about it, without a lot of detail. Basically, he has been getting warned via PM's etc. from multiple mods that he needed to slow his roll with the constant trolling etc.

He chose not to listen and is currently under a 1 week ban. From what Mamba said, it's been going on behind the scenes for about 2 months. Seems like they were beyond fair with him.

I'm sure they are talking to Petersen since he said he was interested in listening to them. Outside of that, they will likely look for people with ties to the school first if there is no major slam dunk name. I'm not sure about the fresno coach, but I'd bet Nussmeier is likely a very high interest to them. After all he is only two years removed from here so he has a rapport with many of the kids in the system and he has two rings the last two years working directly under Saban. If they went that route I'm sure they would throw the kitchen sink at trying to keep Wilcox by maybe even naming him assistant head coach. If Wilcox doesn't actually leave then Sirmon is likely staying. I believe Lupoi came out today and said he isn't leaving, but as we all know none of their words mean shit. Tosh is a hired gun with no ties here to begin with.

I don't know how accurate it is, but word out here is that Wilcox will be joining Sark at USC unless UW makes him the head coach.

If Wilcox and Tosh go to USC, it's another 1.5 million in buyout to be paid within 30 days to UW, on top of the 1.5 they will have to pay for Sark in the next 30 days. Their buyouts are max valued if they go to another PAC school.

Yes, USC could pay that as well and not lose any sleep. But still, it's not chump change either.

Much will depend on the next week if we have a new coach agreement.

Those rumors were laid out at the same time as Sark's departure was leaked. There hasn't been any official word. As Denali pointed out there are buyouts to deal with. I'm sure there are all sorts of things being worked out behind the scenes.

Yeah, figured there were still some details to be hammered out. Assuming that Wilcox and/or Lupoi are coming with him, they may be working out the details of the buyouts.
