Sorry Husky fans, and I mean that in honesty. But I really think you should consider that maybe this was best. I feel strongly about that. Maybe a tough year or two ahead, but I bet you find someone better.

We need our next Don James. Our version of Chris Petersen. A guy like Mora (I'm not saying take Mora, just someone like him) that thinks this is the best job in the world for them. I don't care if they have ties to the NW or not, but if leading UW to national titles and retiring a Husky is a dream come true for them and they know how to run a team then bring him on.

For this Husky fan, that's vile and unforgivable that he used Dons legacy to lip service. Go have a blast at USC Sark. Go fuck yourself. You're no Don James. Not worried, maybe I should be though.

I just think he is committed here at UCLA and wants to leave a better mark than he has so far. With USC in flux and taking the last two there, he has a good chance of climbing the ladder and doing something special here for the now. He would be starting over at Washington IMO.

I would add that this morning he said on local radio that he has not been interviewed for the job, but that USC had reached out to him and less than 2 hours later he is their HC?

I didn't say there aren't reasons to be mad at him, but will that anger last like how we still hate A-Rod? Or is it a shorter term thing? Only time will tell.

Here is what else is true about him: He has never said anything but praise for the university, the administration, the fans, and the city. As long as he doesn't pull a Randy Johnson and change that tune when he hits LA he has that.

The program is in better shape today than when he showed up here. His rebuilding efforts were a big part of the stadium rebuilding project and everything else that has lead to where it is now. It might not be as good as some think it should have been, but he didn't leave it in ashes like Willingham.

We will see what the general tone about him is after the initial shock wears off.

Sorry for the flux this puts the team in, in the long run though the guy showed his true colors now and not later. At least UW does not have to buy his contract out in a year after another season of not living up to the talent on your team.
