Well the 2pm meeting for UW players lasted just 15 minutes. The captains are now going to be allowed to talk to media. That was fast.

More sources saying that Wilcox will be leaving with Sark. If so, I suspect Tosh and Sirmon will be going as well and were gonna have to rebuild an entire staff from scratch.

Reported that Sark is leaving for LA tonight to begin the process and USC just officially announced his hire.

So that's all she wrote. Amazing. Maybe Wilcox will act a temp HC for the game, but very possible he'll be gone to USC after the UW bowl or whatever.

Yeah, I said it was already obvious he lied this morning. Not sure I'm really that bothered by it. Had he said no comment it would have told everyone anyway and anything else would have been a lie as well. He couldn't say it on air until it was final and the school/team had been told. If he had announced it on the radio before the school and team that would have been the ultimate shitty.

Honestly it wouldn't upset me if he got the offer, but I'm not sure that is who they are really interested in. If they are really giving a quick offer my first guess would be Mora, but you know how the rumors go around these things. Who the hell knows.

It's a cluster fuck for everyone involved and is bound to get worse, but the coaching changes take place every off season and as long as UW picks up a really good candidate this time it will be a better thing for us in the long run.

Who knows what was truly going on behind the scenes the past month. UW AD just released the statement that Sark is starting at USC immediately and the search for new coach has already begun.

Oregon benefited from their coaching crew staying intact when Kelly bolted. We may not have it so easy given he's headed to another PAC school and can easily grab who he wants from the staff, besides probably Tuiasasopo, but who knows till a new crew is announced.
