Is there a case out there of someone being charged with a felony for being in possession of, and under the influence of meth that led to them crashing their car and still remained on their team? If so, that's pretty fucked up priorities.

Big difference between Meth and alcohol. Oregon has a serious meth problem with all those cooking labs in trailers and rental homes in the rural areas.
It would look incredibly bad for Helfrich to "suspend him" and start spouting crap at a podium about "he's better off in a safe environment like UofO..."
Meth is an entirely different story for most coaches.

Thank God this game is at Husky stadium. Hopefully we can shake off last night and get back to business. Losing Victor is a huge blow to our Defense. uggggghhhh....

True, but I was more confident seeing as how you guys are needing to blitz to get pressure and he is the ultimate safety blanket on blitzes. It should be a good game hopefully, but us losing Cracraft is just as big as you guys losing Victor and Mathis.

Easier to sweep things under the carpet when it's not out in the public. A whole different thing when it's on the public police blotters as soon as the incident happens.

Look, Oregon did the right thing here. That kid fucked himself bad and has no one to blame but himself. Just saying no school could protect a player in that specific circumstance. At least I hope not.

I've heard conflicting things from Sarell. Some have said he's a heavy Stanford lean, and others have said he's a UW lean. Now that they are out of the state finals I'd expect something from him fairly quickly if he has indeed made up his mind.
