PAC coaches asked to describe team in one word.

Here were responses

RichRod: Hungry
Graham: Character
MacIntyre: More Confident ( derp, one work MAC! )
Helfrich: Redemption
Riley: Leadership
Shaw: Underappreciated
Mora: Determined
Sark: Tough
Willingham: Warriors
Pete: Unkown
Leach: Improving

would it have been better if MacIntyre said Confidenter?

and Oregon and Washington have 2 of the longest waits for the first saturday of the season. 730 Pacific
There was a whole season - or so it seemed - that with the occasional exception of Hawaii, no one kicked of later than Washington. Pretty much every week.

was it the 0-12 season? they may have moved a lot of the second half of the season games to the late games that year.

I think it was 2010. And it mostly only seemed like they were always the last team to play. There was a Huskies fan int eh chatroom I frequented who was always lamenting the fact that he had to wait so long to get to see his team play. It kind of became a "thing."

Because it's at @Hawaii and controled by the MWC broadcast deal, the gametime was to be decided by CBS. Originally the game time was to start at 1:30pm Hawaii time. That would of been fine for Seattle fans as the game would of started at 4:30 here. But if you've been to Hawaii in Aug, it's brutal humidity in Aug and Sept. Always the hottest months out of the year. 1:30pm start time would of been absolutely brutal for fans going to the game and the Huskies.

When CBS decided to move the game to 4:30pm Hawaii/7:30pm PST, it worked for me and will make the game much easier on the fans and Huskies as it will start cooling down a few degrees during the game and the sun will be not directly overhead. Will be a nice sunset game. No problem.

I dont think they had that many late games in any given year but if they lived on the east coast it might have seemed that way

Last season UW played 4 home games that started at 4pm or later with their only early games being Idaho State, Oregon, and the Apple cup. Every road game was at 3pm or later. Not one early game.

I can tell you those 7pm starts in November are no picnic and I hope they don't continue that this year.

Their first home game is a 12:30 so it's starting off on the right foot, but you know they will screw them over somehow as the season rolls on.

Not sure if this has been posted yet and I'm not going back too far to check but USC CB Josh Shaw is out for the season. Hurt his leg jumping off the second floor into a oil to save his nephew from drowning. A heroic move. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery. Sounds like a great guy.

5-star RB Taj Griffen (McEachern, GA) who commmited to the Ducks 2015 class has torn his left knee ACL during a game this weekend and will be out for the rest of his senior season.

Being reported it's high ankle sprains in both legs. If so, he should be out about 6-8 weeks and could be available for games in Nov and bowl game, unless the damage is more severe and surgery will be involved.

That may be the case. I was just going off what 247 initially reported. The latest reports said out indefinitely so that could be less.

Could be sooner depending on the severity, although I'd imagine they're fairly severe given the height that he jumped from.

Yeah, it would be indefinitely with it being a high ankle sprain. Those take longer than regular ankle sprains and apparently it's both ankles which might make it a little more tricky, especially if one is worse than the other.
