Both the QB and WR jucos fill immediate depth needs on offense. Like both signings. They appear to have proven they have div1 skills, but injuries kept them in the JUCO level.
Juco can be hit or miss. especially at a key spot like QB.Both the QB and WR jucos fill immediate depth needs on offense. Like both signings. They appear to have proven they have div1 skills, but injuries kept them in the JUCO level.

That's a depth pick up, not an expected starter. They went into the year with their guys and then Miles left the program leaving them a hole in their depth chart.Juco can be hit or miss. especially at a key spot like QB.
Is the PAC the only conference that weather plays a huge roll in games? From rainy games in Washington to the foggy cold wet nights in Oregon to the heat in Arizona I dont see other conferences having to deal with different climates of member schools like in the PAC. Just a thought.

I guess I didn't word it correctly . I meant the diversity of the weather teams in the Pac play in. SEC teams are pretty much in the same climate as are BIG12 teams and ACC teams have the cold weather up north and the warm humid weather down the coast but in the PAC in conference games could be in the cold of Colorado the rain of washington or the heat of Arizona. Whens the last time Bama played in conference game where the weather was remarkably different that what they practiced in at home before leaving for the game. Heck they play their one and only true out of conference "road game" in a dome in Texas or in a dome in Louisiana. I know the WAC teams play in about the same as the PAC but I mean big boy conferences.
Most of the country isn't like LA, they have a thing called "seasons", and the weather still gets really cold in the south.
I froze my ass off many saturday afternoons and friday nights.
We have seasons.
Right now, it's sunny and hot. In a few months, it will be sunny and cool.
I miss the San Jose "seasons". It's nice and 80 in 1 season and nice and 70 in the other.
Yeah, up there the seasons are less extreme than in SoCal. Today it was sunny and 101 (which sucks). I prefer when it's sunny and in the 60's - 70's.
Yeah in San Jose there is like a 1-2 week period every year, usually around August where it gets in the mid to high 90's because the ocean wind quits blowing. Those weeks suck because no A/C.
And the wind can be pretty cold even at night in the summer. But not as bad as San Fran, the mountains take the edge off.
113 today in Hellzona. But I think hot and humid in the south is probably worse. With the exception of getting in a car.
One thing I don't mind is that it does still get pretty cool here at night. It's supposed to get down to 59 tonight. In about an hour I'll be opening up the house, turning off the A/C and turning on a couple of fans. There will be about 3-4 nights in August where I'll end up leaving the A/C on all night though.
Yeah I miss it. Windows open in the afternoon and the wind will cool everything off quick.
Still 100 here at 10 at night. And that's on West Coast time right now, so basically 11 anywhere else.
A/C does a good job keeping up until it gets about 110. Then it gets behind a few degrees. My electric bill is going to be insane.
Yeah, I approach the mailbox with dread every summer. June electric bill isn't too bad usually. July makes me cringe. August makes me
