Been a busy week for PAC12 recruiting as getting close to LOI and schools are trying to close in on their last targets.

Commits included:

Stanford:

4-star CB Frank Buncom (San Diego, CA)
3-star OLB Jordan Fox (Jersey City, NJ)

Cal:

2-star Patrick Mekari (Thousand Oaks, CA)
4-star Carlos Strickland (Dallas, TX)

Utah:

3-star APB Britain Covey (Provo, UT)

Oregon:

3-star DT Gary Baker (Upland, CA)


Stanford and Cal have made some big progress this month. Cal landing Carlos Strickland is a huge get for the program. He could of stayed in state of Texas easily, but he always saw Cal as his dream school so it worked out well for the Bears.

As getting close to the finish line, the PAC 2015 class rankings look like:

At Oklahoma you go back into the area where they archive all the Masters thesis and Doctorate dissertations. The aisles are really narrow, maybe 24" wide, and it's a hell of a fire hazard if anything ever gets started in there but all those books nearly sound proof the place. Quicky City.

With another Rival's 250 and ESPN 300 commitment from Bryce Love Stanford is now in the 20-30 range for class rank.

This is why the early signing period would kill Stanford, admissions letters, even for early admissions deadlines, do not come out until late December. Most of the recent Stanford commits found out they were accepted on their January 16th visit.
