Gaining on SEC.

Just need Oregon to win out and claim NC.

Watched your likely competition this last weekend, Mamba, doing an unofficial rating of my take on the result of the playoffs: Oregon, FSU, Bama, whoever. I think Oregon can win it convincingly, not big but convincingly, a biggie for the PAC. BUT, IMO (whose O has rarely been right this whole season) I also think your big challenge will be in the PAC CCG, likely v UCLA, and I think, playing their game, could also be competitive against the top 4 as it stands now.

So you think Oregon can beat anyone else in the top 4, but struggle against the pac south winner?

Too Short was a real G. Selling tapes out of the back of his Caddilac on Foothill in the Town. Meanwhile having girls working the track for him. Pimp money became studio time.

I only say this because it will start an argument with Mamba.

Let the kid play.

He lied. He didn't physically harm anyone did he?

No, it was a loud argument with his girlfriend and a neighbor called the police. She left the apartment and he went out on the balcony to cool down. The cops showed up and he panicked, tried to climb down the balcony and fell. That's why the apartment was empty when the cops got there. According to the police, she was adamant that she was not assaulted in any way.

From what I've read, Josh Shaw has always been a real good kid. While I do think there is more to the story I agree with you Mamba let the kid play.

My post was really about tf saying his punishment was 'overly harsh' and it's pure homerism at best!

Not only did JS make up a huge whopping lie to cover his ass about whatever but he got his Aunt to lie for him too just to collaborate his story.

Then there is no evidence of domestic violence between he and his girlfriend so why would he run from the cops like he claims in his second 'story'?

Last, that resident who calls the cops about a burglary describes a guy with Josh's discription out 'scaling' the balcony where JS eventually admits he jumps from. This tell me he was out there way before the cops ever arrive.

So he's most likely lying again about leaping because he was scared of the cops. He uses the Ferguson thing to bolster his excuse.

What I think the police believe is that he was involved in doing something dumb, his girlfriend was probably screaming at him while he was doing it and a neighbor catches him before anything really goes wrong other than his leap.
That's my take too, so let him play and let this prove NN's point to a 'T'!

He lied and it cost him 8 games in his senior season. Yes, it was overly harsh, especially when compared to what Jameis Winston has gotten for his crap or Gurley got for getting paid for his autograph.

Apparently, you missed the part where I said better that it was too harsh than nothing happening to him.

Nice speculation on what happened too. I get that it's rivalry week and all, but now you have him using Ferguson as an excuse?!?:L

You should be embarrassed by your post.

Overly harsh,,

After Shaw lies, his tale still makes no sense.

There has got to be more to the story otherwise why lie in the first place?

He obviously knows there is something to hide or else he wouldn't of lied in the first place or need one of the best criminal attorney in the country to represent him.

His actions just lead to a thought process that whatever he was doing was probably criminal and he likely got away with it.

You need to stop watching TV or something. He ran because he knew he'd get in trouble with the coaching staff for having the cops show up at an argument with his gf. If he would have stayed nothing would have likey happened. Stupid move. He' jumped to leave and tore up his ankles. Another stupid move. Made up a story so his ankles could be explained. Another stupid move. All we have are stupid moves on his part. He got suspended for this for a long time. Get over it.

You have two FSU players involved in a crash late at night. Both cars totaled. They leave their car there and take off. The Tallahassee police dont "find" them till the next day (to late to test for alcohol). What did they get? Squat.

I'm not embarrassed by my post tf,

I didn't lie.

These are his words bro...

“If she did say anything, I'm a black man with dreadlocks, and with everything going on in the country at the time, all that stuff in St. Louis [Ferguson, Mo.] … in my mind, I'm going to leap from the balcony so authorities did not see me.”

He tells a good story, you should check it out!

SoCalJim, I didn't bring up this issue.

I just commented on tf saying it was too harsh a penalty.

Let's see what Sark has to say.

:suds:

Besides, I already said I hear he is a good kid, so let the him play.
