No, it was a loud argument with his girlfriend and a neighbor called the police. She left the apartment and he went out on the balcony to cool down. The cops showed up and he panicked, tried to climb down the balcony and fell. That's why the apartment was empty when the cops got there. According to the police, she was adamant that she was not assaulted in any way.

Well, TF12, he is now back with the team and in your valued opinion got no more than he deserved. The question now is, will he help beat up on the Bruins or is this entire discussion moot?

Honestly, I don't know. They've been working him out in practice and word is that he looks good. I think they'll probably use him a sub and in nickel situations. A lot will depend on how quickly he can learn the game plan. It's likely that his biggest problem will be that this will be his first contact since August. He was suspended from all football activities, so he hasn't even been allowed to practice with the team.

Washington senior Hau'oli Kikaha is one of four finalists for the 2014 Rotary Lombardi Award, the Rotary Club of Houston announced today.

Kikaha, a buck linebacker from Laie, Hawai'i, will travel to Houston for the award ceremony on Dec. 10, when he join the three other finalists: Arizona's Scooby Wright III, Ohio State's Joey Bosa and Clemson's Vic Beasley.

Kikaha, who recovered from two separate major knee injuries to return to play last season, has spent the majority of the 2014 season as the NCAA's leader in sacks and tackles for loss. He currently shares the sacks lead with Wright and remains the sole leader in tackles for loss with 22.5. He's broken UW records for season and career sacks as well as tackle-for-loss yardage.

Husky defensive tackle Steve Emtman won the Lombardi Award in 1991.

Earlier today, Kikaha was also named one of five finalists for the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year. The other finalists are Scott Harding of Hawai'i, Marcus Mariota from Oregon, Utah's Nate Orchard and Arizona QB Anu Solomon. The winner will be announced Dec. 9 and honored at a ceremony in Honolulu in January.
