So without getting a center fielder, as our lineup currently stands, curious how our lineup will look. Guess a lot depends on whether or not there's a DH:

1) Lindor
2) McNeil
3) Conforto?
4) Alonso
5) Smith
6) Davis
7) McCann
8) Nimmo

That's without the DH and without bringing in a CF. I think this lineup is good enough that I would be more than ok going with the cheaper/better defender in Jackie Bradley Jr and using the savings to bulk up the bullpen.

If the choice is Springer or JBJ + 2 pitchers I think option B makes more sense.

The Toronto Blue Jays are set to land the star they've been looking for all winter, reaching agreement on a six-year, $150 million contract with free-agent outfielder George Springer, sources confirmed to ESPN's Jeff Passan.

The Blue Jays and Mets have been the two finalists for Springer for much of this offseason, but New York’s additions of star shortstop Francisco Lindor and others put the Blue Jays in the driver's seat, where they could use the payroll flexibility that comes with such a young team. According to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, the Mets’ final offer to Springer came in around six years, $120-$125 million.

So I'm torn because he's awesome but I believe the most center field he's played was 84 games? Which means Nimmo or Conforto get bumped in a year or 2 when he moves to the corner. His value is as a center fielder. Corner outfielders are always available.

With that said go to plan B. Get Jackie BradtJr and his superior defense and use the savings to bulk up the rotation/pen.
