We've gotten pretty bad now days.
My brothers kid was off two days cause it was "cold"
Shit when I was a kid, that shit didn't matter. We got off if there was 3 feet of snow overnight, and that was about it.

The only reason we got days out of school was when the work places shutdown. If everyone went to work, we went to school. Down here it was good call though when the rain froze over it was bad. We are not equipped for this still a lot of folks got on the roads and suffered the consequences.
