ONIA, Ark. (AP) - Rescuers have found a missing 3-year-old boy who wandered away from his rural north Arkansas home more than a day ago.

The Stone County Office of Emergency Management said Wednesday that the boy, Landen Cade Trammell, was near a creek about a half-mile from the staging area for the search.

Little Rock television station KLRT reports (Missing 3yo in Stone County found safe - FOX16.com Little Rock, AR) the boy was taken to a hospital to be checked out. Officials say he would be treated for exposure but was otherwise fine.

Hundreds of volunteers fanned out into the woods on foot, on horseback and on all-terrain vehicles after Landen vanished Tuesday morning.

i happy it ended up ok too.. but you dont leave a 3 year old by himself

I didn't say that it was OK but all it takes is a few minutes,

just the time it takes to hang a basket of laundry is more than enough time
