we had the ball almost 11 minutes longer than the Broncos,,,and we lost that fucking game,that tells me they aren't putting up any points we couldn't run the ball yet they kept trying even when it wasn't there and unless Ben was out of the pocket all the passes were short and went no where,as for the defence we had no pass rush and Clark wasn't on the field blame the defence if you want but we had key players who did not play and it was the first game of the season,,,,this is on the offence you have to score points to win and they did not many

God Damn you wanna replay last night and have the Steelers win?! It's fucking behind us and we aren't blaming anyone but our team and coaching. We are in agreement! We don't blame other teams or refs etc. Except the whole NE spygate thing, yep can't let that go.....

that game plan last night sucked I know it and most people who saw the game know it,,,,they didn't even look like the steelers last night we have 2 of the better WRs in the game and hardly used them at all,,,,,,

oh so the offence didnt have players that were hurt and didnt play..only the defense .. the whole team sucked last night both O and D... you win as a team and lose as a team .. but manning walked all over our defense like jesus walking on water

Yeah and it took Manning two fucking plays to score on us! What! That doesn't take much time...........

There is plenty of blame to go around for both offense and defense.

The O just couldn't make a big play. They chipped away all night, recorded a bunch of 1st downs in 3rd down situations, but they lacked the big play. Also, Ben missed a wide open Miller in the 1st half that would have been a easy 7, but he didn't loft the pass enough, and it was deflected.

On defense there wasn't a consistent pass rush. Historically, defenses that beat Peyton do it by getting pressure on him. The D didn't do it with enough regularity. That is a recipe for disaster against a guy like Manning. He will pick you apart, and that is exactly what he did.

lets face it the Defence sucked last night,,,,the Steelers dumped Bruce Ariens and went with Todd Hailey which I think was a huge mistake,hell just look at his record he was fired from his last job as a head coach for losing to many games,if he couldn't get the job done in KC what makes them think he will be better with the Steelers,,,we have some great players,they didn't even look average last night

Steeler defense sucked last night AND the last game we played in Denver...missing too many tackles and just not having the intensity of the normal Steeler defense. I attribute that to the high altitude/thinner air.

As far as Hailey goes, his record as a HC is irrelevent...just look at Lebeau, he had a horrible record as a HC but as a coordinator, he's a worldbeater. Give the team a few more weeks to gel with the new offensive playbook, give Wallace more actual practice time, etc...we'll be fine.
