There was talk early in the season that both sides wanted to get a deal done, but up to this point there haven't been any talk of an extension.


Rookie Brock Nelson will Center the Isles 1st line tonight with Tavares out of the lineup.

I have no doubt MacDonald will get 4M come July. He plays the most minutes every game. He shouldn't be Quarterbacking the powerplay, but with Visnovsky out he's getting the opportunity. De Haan will probably get a chance. He's played well since being called up.

Oh I agree, he's a very good defensemen, just flies under the radar because of where he plays.

Horton, Bobrovsky Almost Ready | BlueJackets Xtra

Bobrovsky and Horton could be in the lineup as soon as this week.

If the Jackets play the defense scheme they've played that has made Tabasco seem viable, and they can move Horton right in with Foligno and Johansen this could be a very good stretch coming up here.

Looks like both Horton and Bob are good to go tonight. Unknown how much ice either will see. They are saying Bob will be the backup. But Horton could be making his debut tonight. I am hoping that Horton goes on the right side with Johansen and Foligno, putting Umberger with Atkinson and Dubinsky.

Matt Calvert got put on IR again, and the Jackets are giving Jonathan Marchessault his shot. Speedy kid who is having a good year in the A (26 points in 31 games). Dalton Prout who has missed six games also likely to be back tonight.

Chris Connor, 6-8 weeks after hand surgery. The hits keep coming for the Pens. They had so many injuries that the replacements are now injured.

Connor, Megna, Ebbett all came up to replace others, all injured.

Not as bad as it was a few weeks back I guess? Hah. Geno is close.
