Feel free to post who's hit the IR or is simply "day to day" here.

The Pens list is mounting...weeeeee!

Penguins:
James Neal IR (believed to be "late November" on his return)-Upper Body
Beau Bennnet- Lower Body
Chuck Kobasew-Lower Body, 3-4 weeks
Rob Scuderi-Ankle surgery, very likely long term
Tomas Vokoun-Hip surgery, likely season ending

Ouch. I feel terrible for the Pens. After this weekend's home and home.

The Scuderi one didn't look that bad at game speed. That sucks, he's an unbelievably underrated guy.

For the Jackets -
Nathan Horton is still out, although I hear his training is going well and he has been skating on his own. Still targeting early/mid Dec.
Matt Calvert is out indefinitely after abdominal surgery.
Cody Bass was out, got better and came back in the "don't hit me" sweater and just got waived and shipped to Springfield.
Derek MacKenzie and Boone Jenner are nursing lower body injuries but could be ready by the weekend.
Nick Foligno is still dealing with personal issues, but will play this weekend.

Aside from Giordano (out 6 to 8 weeks with a broken ankle), Lee Stempniak is out week-to-week with a broken foot (also in a walking boot). Those are two pretty big losses (especially Gio), but injuries are gonna happen.

For the Sharks

Boyle has missed the last six games for concussion protocol reasons. On the IR and is currently day-to-day.

Burns has missed the last four games after surgery to repair mouth, nasal, and sinus damage after taking several high sticks. Just began skating again and is probably a week or so away from returning.

Havlat had offseason pelvic surgery to repair a double sports hernia. Just started participating in full practices and is day-to-day.

Torres had right knee ACL surgery. He's on LTIR and not expected back until after the Olympic break.

Burrish had back surgery and is out indefinitely maybe done for the year. He's also on LTIR.

Nieto missed last game with a sore hand from blocking a shot and is day-to-day.

Didn't realize just how awesome Scuds was until he was back again. My guess with his injury is that it was an avulsion fx (where the muscle contracts so quickly and powerfully, like it would when trying to stabilize a joint, that it pulls off a piece of bone with it). Probably an external fixation (hardware on the outside of the body), and that means...well...see ya in the year 2014 Scuds.

Good to hear Horton is on schedule. Risky move by the Jackets, but I'm sure it'll pay off. Did we ever hear what the specific injury was?

Nucks - no stars, but that's a significant amount of NHL depth gone for a while.

Jordan Schroeder 3-4 weeks
Jannik Hanson 3-4 weeks
Dale Weise 3-4 weeks
David Booth 1-2 weeks
Burrows is back finally

Nash still has no timetable for a return from his concussion :(
Captain Cally will be out another week and a half or two weeks.

He had chronic trouble with his shoulder and dislocations and when he fought Iginla last year it dislocated again. Rather than pop it back in and see how it healed, they decided to fix why it dislocated in the first place. That's all I've heard.

There's a lot of "It all depends" re: Minny's banged-up guys.

Charlie Coyle (knee sprain) might be back as soon as this Friday.
Mike Rupp (knee scoped last spring) is taking practice reps, & might be back sometime in November.
Jonas Brodin (broken cheek bone) is waiting for the swelling to diminish to the point where he can look down & see the ice - & the puck: Timetable uncertain.

Johan Franzen out for who knows what kind of injury for who knows how long.

Helm still out, hopefully won't have any more setbacks and will return soon.

Big E still out another week or 2 with a shoulder injury.

That's all the Red Wing injuries, I believe.

Most underrated guy in the NHL over the last 5 years. It's no accident he's play in 99 playoff games in the last 6 years.

Bryce Salvador & Corey Schneider both out.

Schneider probably back by the weekend or early next week at the latest.

Dalvador back next week unless Lou needs longer to figure out how to keep how to keep Gelinas on the roster. Coould be an unforseen injury in Peter harrolds future...just sayin

What?!? That's a thing that can happen. Oh... I don't feel so well...

Don't worry, Elo, it takes explosive movements usually. You don't have to worry about it. :D
