I need to watch the last game (or not), but I am thinking that placing Couturier between Cousins and Weise is an absolute waste of his talents.

It seems like a lot of people are saying this, but I have to agree. Why do we like Schenn so much at center? Put him back on the top line with Giroux and Voracek.

I wouldn't be afraid to shuffle the lines here a bit as guys start to get healthy. Leier on the top line is a stopgap. You're asking for a bit too much out of the kid. The fourth line needs to play more also. That's a pretty solid line. Roll four lines and keep everyone fresh.

When healthy, I really like our team here when we can roll all four lines and get scoring from each of them. Plus, have a puck-moving defender in each pairing and Provorov getting better by the second while logging huge minutes.

I will try to stay around but i know this team is better than to have to rely on me. They need to get their act together and play a full 60 minutes tonight and the defense better show up this game. I will be back Tuesday Happy new year!

Couts between those two was a waste. Leier was even a bigger waste on the top line. Wiese is just a waste in general. If our defense didn't play so bad we might have even pulled this game out even with all that wasted space on our lines.
