Nobody is signed up yet technically, but it's perhaps too early and I know several of you are interested.

People need to get on board. The draft would potentially be in about two weeks or so if I move it up and I probably will. Potentially October 2nd, which is coming up really fast.

So, I'm wondering. What in the hell happens if Canada goes 3-0 and the other three Group A teams go 1-2? How on earth do they decide the second qualifying team?

If Czech beat Europe and Canada beats USA and Europe, this is entirely possible. USA would have to beat Czech in the last game and all of them would be tied for second at 1-2.

Goal differential is the tie breaker.

I went in last year it was fun but I don't have to lot of time to do roster changes every day. Can this be set up weekly instead? This way you can sub out injured guys but not every day.

watched some of the World Cup for the first time last night, man Team North America is fun. Ghost playing a huge role in that as well. Good to see him manning the #1 PP unit and out there at the end when they need a goal. Looked to me like he was out there a ton in the 3rd (all i watched)

Ghost was out there a ton on the PP and i would say if he played with that team on the reg and got more comfortable with the players he would be the best offensive dman on that team.

Couts is playing a shut down role for that team and pretty much that has been his only job. I would like to see him develop his offensive game more but he has his orders. That team is incredible i would love to see more teams develop that speed and skill game but they do have 16 first round picks on their team i guess that wont happen in the NHL.

Well, it can be changed to rosters locking at the very first game of the week, but I've never played that way personally. I would hate that option. You can still set your rosters days or weeks in advance regardless if you like.

Unfortunately, not enough of us are here yet for this fantasy league. I will delay the draft until the second week or later if necessary.

People are not back yet from the offseason.
