that would be mighty useful. lecavalier, umberger, grossmann, Coburn, and luke schenn would all come off the books and not need to be resigned.

Voracek, BSchenn, and Couturier also come up then, so they'd eat some of that saved room, but I think summer of '16 is a big milestone for the flyers direction. a total of 25.7 million comes off the cap.

I don't see why CC isn't getting a chance. Coburn and A Mac are killing us. I understand its tough to sit so much salary, but if Vinny can sit, so can other high salaries. Face it, we are in Cap HELL for the next 2 years.

It should be after this season. Make him the highest paid scout so he gets his money and we get cap relief. Let him be a player coach for the phantoms if he wants to play. Make A Mac and Umberger his assistant coaches and we clear over $14 million in cap.
