I was reading a blog on BSB that caught my eye and found it interesting. Mike Richards may possibly get bought out? If it were to happen, would u consider bringing him back? Obviously assuming we find someone to take Vinny off our hands and figure out Schenn's deal? I doubt it will happen, but I would look at the situation closely if it happens. Not too mention we have Laughton coming up.

I loved Richards when he was here but center position we already have one to many. If we let Vinny go and sign Richards we still have to many. I am voting no on Richards for more reasons than I listed.

It says the Islanders are very unlikely to be able to sign Dan Boyle at this point, despite trading for his rights. He wants to play for a contender.

1. No way Richards signs back in Philly. Plus I don't think the Flyers need him anyway.

2. I'd sign Boyle, but only if Timonen retires and it's a 1 year deal south of 5 mil.

3. World Cup tomorrow. So pumped.

The team looks OK. Offensively they should be pretty good, but defense could be an adventure. In the friendly against Turkey the defense was atrocious, but got lucky. Even still, I think the best they can hope for is 1-1-1 and then getting in on goal differential. Either way, they absolutely have to beat Ghana on Monday or they have no chance. Very very tough group.

Lets go USA is how I feel in my heart but my head knows better. We are pretty much screwed and wont advance to the second round if we do I will be very happy.
